No. You can get a average gaming PC for around $500 and even cheaper if you custom build. The games are very cheap for PC. Just look at the steam sales: $3-$20 for $40-60 games on consoles. In the long run,PCs are better for your money.
I think you are talking about ports. Those are nothing special. Just compare the Witcher 2 on PC and the 360...
