ya looked nice and what really impressed me was how smooth it was. I couldnt detect the normal slow downs and screen tearing crap. Looks like Id has a winner here.
I seriously dont care what platform their games come to because nothing would stop me from getting my hands on their work.
@ Meetajhu can you imagine for 1 moment if Id software with John Carmack, Tim willits and Todd Hollenshead never existed.
These guys were the fps pioneers who kept me up night after night when I had to be to work around 7 am lol.
Without Id software fps games and games in generel would be totslly different.
I think the problem here is Id has not been really been noticed of late so poeple dont understand their importance to gaming.
First I have to say I love almost all ID games and 2nd did you guys see how smooth their engine was playing.

Im curious if the 360 would attempt to spin up a blu ray. I heard they dont scratch or its hard to do so. I bet you that 360 would tear it up lol. I kid I kid. I love all my scratched discs

Btw I just randomly hooked up my 360 to a tubed 19 "tv with composite inputs. Dont have to worry about anymore 576p crap. Im old school like that.
i still use my xbox it runs a special emulator. anyways my drive bay gets stuck and i was thinking about just getting a used disc drive from gamestop. I think a used Xbox is about 50 bucks well worth it to fix my drivebay.
I loved my first xbox its built like a tank and still keeps on truckin. Cant say the same for its successor.
More games sold the better. Thats the bottom line really. its an entertainment business.
I think because valves partnership with EA. Im sure EA if the case can fully support valves ps3 team. Also If Ea/Valve are partners EA has $$$ interests in the ps3 so its a no brainer.
The ps3 has a massive install base which would be silly for any company to overlook if they have the resources to handle making games for the ps3 now which they do.
Who will actually make the games from valve to ps3 my guess EA. Or another guess is valve actually gives a damn ...
