yeah it does but some peeps cant handle that fact that their system is in its twilight graphically.

The games still rock on consoles just the graphics can only go so far on a closed system.

They arn't sidelining sh1t did you guys watch the video.

They are discussing the future. we can still keep njoing the current gen of consoles I do for sure.

But one day we will move forward. Is that why I got got so many disagrees because I critiqued the video?

Seriously watch the video.

This video is A+ for the future.

Hey louis pc gamers desperate over what? I have both consoles and a high end pc so wh...

Not to be a dick but that was good news.

1: They discussed how much more powerful the pcs are now compared to consoles.

2:how much game technology has advanced to with especially in regards to ill give you 1 tessellation.

3:The new engines that the next gen could feasibly use at a good price point in the next 2 years.

4: What they expect the console makers to produce in regards to hardware to push this new tech.

The gtx 8800 was a huge upgrade and it was a beast.

If the ps3 would have had that as a hybrid card with the 768mb of ram and the cell the console would of been a serious monster for some time with the cell.

That would of made the ps3 probably a 1200 unit(speculating) and the ps3 would of had to of launched probably at least 2 years later. 8800 gtx also was a great heater in the winter time but I loved that card for 4 years strong. Rip my beloved 8800 gtx LOL...

Yes indeed and I am glad that we will be moving forward with our PCs'

I want to play with this good stuff on my gaming rig. That is why I built it.

Just waiting for SSD drives to grow in capacity and lower in prices ,but I do plan to get an Intel Sata 3 SSD drive for my OS and some crucial programs.

I will holding to my I7 2600k for awhile and just upgrade my GTX 570 gpu in a year or so. Vram will be an issue I believe on my card since i...

Yeah I do think we are at the point were within at least 2 years will give us a much better technical experience across the board.

Also with cost and longevity for the future consoles.

I loved the game it was a beauty. Just wish the A.I was a little better. The A.I is confined to 1 logical space and will not follow you out that area.

They also have collision issues and freak out of control.

The voice acting was horrid in-game. Almost every word was repeated and with or by the same person/actor ala Sarge bad company.

I really think the story could have developed better and there were some moments of emptiness when there could h...

Sony did pretty well but the ps2 catalog was insanely huge and diverse.

I think one thing that happened besides motion controls this gen was the first person shooter phenomena.

I wonder how Xbox live and PSN will transition.

Example do some games like a cod that is released on xbox360 and next gen Xbox play online together.

Or would it cause confusion and lack of incentive to move up to the latest and greatest.

I wish I had a micro fly on the wall of Microsoft and Sony headquarters LOL.

Here is the thing that makes me ponder.

When new consoles arrive they will be powerhouses most likely running nice visuals @ 1080p.

Like all gens the software gets better overtime with fine tuning game engines and such.

What happens later in the cycle when the PC ports really start to move away again.
Do we revert back to 720p output to keep those graphics in check? Or do MS/Sony force game designers to keep those resolutions.

this is like trying to get oil companies to stop making gasoline for cars.

I do agree cloud gaming will be relevant 1 day and digital distributions are already an optional source, I'm sure past my lifetime time before this is a serious evolved evolution.

Now another thing nvidia/Amd Ati im sure do not want this along with other chip manufactures like Intel/IBM.

That is and will be the way too goo for the long run.

Well it better come with warhead but seriously crysis 1 although fun, is so yesterday.

I see a money opportunity for crytek and that's about it.

Most people can play crysis for like 10 bucks on their PC.

Would not spend full price unless there were some serious additions no way.

5394d ago 3 agree2 disagreeView comment

yeah well technology is advancing, and eventually we have to take it as it is. Well as long as the game play is fun.

We are critiquing a beta no need for violence :)

But I havnt played it yet since I am enjoying my uber super duper ultra Crysis 2 dx 11 hi res texture pack lol.

The level where you gotta rig the explosives back up metlife building in C2 on ultra is something to behold.

The xplosions and you name it have been overhauled on that massive level. I let the ceph just slaughter me so I can keep starring at it.
