570 is a beast but I am buying one as well and giving my kids my 570. I think the 570 will still hang tough by reducing either some settings or using a different screen size.
My 24" monitor is fairly close to me an I prefer 1600x900 so the frame rate is really good anyways.I like how BF3 you can stretch the window to any size you feel like scaling to.

I played Mass Effect 2 thought it was amazing. I mean you control your destiny. You do anything you want but some time I would get stuck not following the mission path properly and that drove me nutz. But to say the game is bore well I dunno about that.
Maybe with a Ps4 Sony feels that it will need to team up with a partner to succeed but I think this is not envisioned on the PS3 platform. The life cycle of the ps3 is in its Prime and I can see it happening on new hardware just not on the ps3.
Maybe if the Rumor has any substance It could appear on a PlayStation deigned with valve in mind. We'll see.

I wish I could like resistance but it just the way the gun feels all wrong my hands IMO. Just feels static. I need that kz3 feel to bad that these things are not migrated from 1 FPS to another so people can be acquainted with the movement. I am talking KZ3 and Resistance Sony games not cod.

A little off topic, but Speaking of E3 all 2014 conventions have been cancelled in Los Angeles. This will be due to the renovation of the entire convention center and south hall to be connected to one huge futuristic convention hall expandable into the NFL stadium.

cool I have the 570 and I am glad I didn't buy the 580 lat year because the 570 is the a much better deal and comes close to performance of the 580. Flat out the 570 rocks. I won't need an upgrade for some time.

I agree with the you that their strategy next launch will be more competitive and in more of a price reach that will be better for the consumer.
Most people who game can't or won't pay 600 dollars on a game machine unless for various reasons.
I paid 600 but didn't have a lot of games at the time.
