Just a question why would sony release the firmware on a friday ?, cos then on a saturday staff may have a day off or something. I know its a rumour but I think it is unlikey, I personally think it will be on a monday or tuesday.
My bet would be that it will arrive on a Monday or Tuesday since then all of their staff are in then as well :).

Ive stopped playing my 360, cos its summer and it might over heat lol!, so im guna start playing it again in winter where it wont over heat, even then I turn off my heater in my room and open my window.
@thejackal your a moron, good look not getting RROD on your 360, then waiting another 2 months on getting another xbox, you cant even play 7 hours on it without getting RROD, as that guy got it when he was playing GTA non stop and got RROD haha!
I agree with the guy, he is just trying to get his and other peoples views out. It would be better to get rid of this problem now that later when there would be more people owning the PS3 which could mean that there would be a lot more people complaining about the content.
Im up for waiting for it to get sorted, but as a UK consumer of the PS3 I am also dissapointed with how SCEE handle things, alot of things. You could say that we got the MGO for free, so what US got that Super...

I know that the DLC isnt going to be a map pack anyway cos Ive read on magazines that its going to add up to like 20 hours of play or so, if it was a map pack they would have put "unlimited amount of play on the DLC" which would have backed up that it was maps. Its just an opinion though, might be wrong but I think it is correct.
Thats gunna put a few people off, as well as friends of mine who wanted to get the 360 version cos they thought it was a extra map.
