The game is the price for a decent lunch... but it's also 1/6th of the cost of Final Fantasy XV (or any other full fledged console game). That seems like a little much to me.
I think if we're going to compare costs, we should compare to things that are more closely related.

This is pretty exciting... looks like an arcade racing game as opposed to a racing simulator. If they do online play correctly, I'll be playing this for sure!

I prefer having physical copies of the things I own, but I am in no way opposed to digital. In fact, I embrace it.
What's interesting is the fact that the console gaming industry is still primarily physical media based. The biggest titles release are physical media first, and digitally second. I wonder when we will see the day when console developers don't release their products on physical media and do purely digital (like the App Store).
Do you get to choose the game you get? I thought you simply received a voucher and the game you get was random... I hope i'm wrong though.

i was really excited for this game. side scroller beat em up with music by anamanaguchi... but no online co-op! that was key for me.

I agree with this guy... as long as the graphics are good enough to tell the difference between something like a ball and somebody's head, i'm happy. The gameplay on the other hand needs to be good and exciting!
they use such crafty tricks in order to attract attention to their products... at least they make good operating systems
graphics suffer when games have to be developed for multiple platforms. it also limits the number of things you are able to put in the game considering that you have to select a development platform that can adapt...

So first lemme lay down what I have heard:
1. Rising is going to have stealth elements and isn't a complete action game ala Ninja Gaiden
2. It takes place between MGS2 and MGS4 and shows how Raiden got his awesome ninja high frequency blade abilities.
