I don't mind an offensive emblem, as long as some work was put into it. It offends me when they spend 30 seconds making something shitty looking. If you're going to try and offend me at least take some pride in it.

Just like home consoles killed the arcade scene. I remember pumping quarters in Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, Street Fighter playing against random people face to face. Now it's all online. It just came down to home consoles getting powerful enough. Soon handhelds will be as powerful as Nintendo Wii.
Maybe if after a game has been released for more than a year it didn't cost $40+. If NEW games (old releases) were like $10-$20 then it would be hard to turn a profit on used games.

This is weird because I'm playing FFVII right now on the PC. I've thought long and hard about a remake and I think the graphics and all the "numbers" need an update. Like change the locations of where you attain chocobos, change how you acquire level 4 limits, maybe level 5 limits? Add a couple of new summons and spells, but don't touch the story line. Maybe some new enemies, change what enemies give what items, change all the damage tables and formulas that everyone...

There will be a remake, but it's not going to be a polish job like previous remakes. This article is right though. I WAS a huge FFVII fan, but redoing the entire game might take too long. My interest is fading.

This is for real. PS3 is coming out with a software update that you can play 360 games and Wii games. The XBOX and Wii remotes will connect to your PS3. World of Warcraft is also coming to PS3, and all the original Nintendo games as downloadable content. The PS3 Will also connect directly to orbiting satellites so you don't even have to pay for internet. Furthermore I heard if you connect your PS3 VIA USB to your RRoDed 360 it will fix it. The PS3 makes great toast too.

I'm TDY here in Wichita Falls, TX. I went to hastings the other day and saw a used 60 Gig PS3 for $469, then I looked at the new one and it was $499. I thought I was just trippin.
With isohunt and torrents and highspeed internet available in more places, everyone is downloading them and burning them thierselfs. With HD movies, it takes to long to DL them and the media you have to burn them with is not easy to get ahold of. So people must purchase them, especially us high tech junkies.
I got an elite when it came out and after the update mine turns on by itself.
They didn't say it could NOT be done, they said they "doubt" it could be done. The article clearly says that developing on one platform is easier and you don't have to deal with the restraints of the other platform. I guess every developer has his favorite console too.
