Truth be told, Dark Souls II is not even on the same tier of quality that Bloodborne and Dark Souls I are. I find the enemy placement and overall boss design are very contrived and uninteresting with few exceptions, and the overall gameplay is extremely hard to go back to after playing Bloodborne.
Are we at the point where we're putting goddamn pictures of unpublicized bosses in news articles now? The game has been out for a week. Respect some abstraction of the spoiler policy, for the love of Miyazaki.
Making each new monster a quarter of the full game price is shameless and disgusting. That's all.
False. There are multiple quest lines for different NPCs with different endings, and the main story has multiple endings as well. Not to mention the optional bosses and NG+ enemy changes. This game has depth.
I wish I hadn't backed this game through PayPal when I missed the Kickstarter campaign. I get none of the updates that the Kickstarter backers can read and I don't feel like a part of the community that supports the game being developed.
27.2 GB. There. Saved you a click. You're welcome. That seems a bit small though, honestly. The last game I can think of that was comparably compact was inFamous and I tend to believe that was due to the atrocious lack of enemy variety. Hopefully this isn't a sign of the same.
Has anyone had the Dell $25 gift card deal work for them? I tried with Majora's Mask 3D and my code never arrived- now I'm looking at the Bloodborne product page and there's no mention of the offer.
People. Making custom button maps for your controller will break as soon as a game mentions the controls, unless it includes an overlay that reminds you where you switched each button to. This will be an OS-level feature.
On the other hand, the playback controls for discs (on the US PS4 at least) still uses circle as play and pause, so this is probably just a holdover from when it was originally designed in Japan before being converted to our contrary tastes.
Did anyone there ever type it up in an email? ...
I don't understand how his inexperience with a series leads to you disliking him.
FIg you read the article, you know that they compared the two in terms of workload, since their last game was a handheld game.
So are we turning into monsters as the hollowing mechanic or not?
I couldn't care less about the whole graphical fidelity argument, but it is impossible for the Order to be 1080p with those bars at the top and bottom. Unless it has a QHD spec for 4K televisions.
Many a port is handled by outside teams. They very well might have just sent the job and original material for said games to a port house somewhere, or a dev at Sony itself may have shouldered the task.
I miss split screen or at least cross platform multiplayer in games. My best friend can't afford a PS4! Work with us, industry!
Just because I'm a man doesn't mean I have a 'guilty pleasure' game. Personally I think the objectification of women and obsession over the 'hottest booties in gaming' is kind of gross and not attractive at all.
I base my attraction to someone on my connection with her and our compatibility, so these basically naked women that I'll never have conversations or interactions with don't do anything for me. Sorry.
Right- I think it had a launch week discount for PS+, which is fairly common now. Even if it's not free next month I would seriously recommend buying it as $20 for a game of this artistic and entertaining calibur is a steal. Support good game developers!
So about that artwork. Can we talk about the actual artwork?
inFamous: First Light isn't indie. Injustice is the least indie you can get. Resogun, Strider and arguably Spelunky weren't indie. For PS3, indie titles have never been an issue, and if you're arguing any non-indie titles for Vita then I can't help you.
So what's the uproar over non-indie titles on PS+ again? Honestly guys, can we drop the negativity?
SMT is Persona's father franchise, so that makes sense.
