maybe microsoft will actually show off some brand new, cutting edge, never seen before stuff and make the whole reveal extra special instead of just revealing an xbox one with more power.
also have to understand that xbox fans haven't had much to shout about in the past few years so it's a good time for them now

Nier: Automata is as niche as niche games get. there simply isn't anything like it on the market and that is one of the reasons why it was so well received
if you're more interested in playing previous-gen games on your current-gen console than playing cutting-edge current-gen games on your current-gen console then i'm sorry to say but PS4 isn't for you.

obviously includes things like MTs, DLCs and some games that can only be bought online.
pretty sure physical discs still make up a vast majority of sales of full games
finally picked the game up after the big ps+ sale. my internet is acting up so i can't download it now but i'm quite excited to try it out. always wanted to play it but heard so many bad things :/

bought the game a few weeks back then heard about the chapter 13 update and havent touched it ever since, haven't even installed it. pretty happy i waited a few months before buying ffxv, feels like i'll be playing the near-finished version
glad they're hard at work on DLC because TF2 needs more content . i mean there is a lot of it but its spread too thin between all the many game modes. more maps, more primary weapons and more anti-titan weapons.
otherwise Titanfall 2 is an excellent game. i really, really feel sorry for all the sheeple who bought CoD:IW and BF1 they're missing out on a great game all because they want to be cool and play what everyone else is playing
is a game really difficult if it's unfair?
that's what I've kept asking myself since playing the DS series.
I try out the different difficulty settings in most games and if it's unfair then I don't bother. before the DS games I'd always soldier along even if it was unfair.

why do devs (especially devs of games that seem more aligned with PlayStation) still give Polygon review copies?
I don't like thinking like an irrational fanboy but it's clear for all to see the Microsoft bias on that website
it probably makes more sense to keep the community active with free content DLC which means EA can milk a larger group of people with microtransactions for a longer period of time
like in Titanfall 2. free map and weapon dlc but pilot and titan camo, banners, and especially prime titans all cost money. people are probably more willing to spend cash on MTs when dlc is free
and like you said splitting the base is never a good idea
