Just saying, if your going to constrain it to just multiplayer, then every multiplayer shooter is an expansion of its previous version. I have zero problem with you not liking the multiplayer, to each his own, but the single player is still the main game and what makes it a justified full release...

Its really easy to just do it online as well, then you don't have to wait on hold. I've had to do it twice in the last month. First one the disk drive failed and the refurbished console they sent me started freezing up and crashing within the first week. Bad luck this cycle for me, never had console issues before

I'm in the same boat, not getting my console back until tomorrow. Luckily I had a friend bring his PS4 into work last friday so I could try it out. Just waiting for the beta now...
you can't play it offline, it also said I didnt have the latest version of the game, so I'm hoping there is another patch on Saturday.

Best way to beat the JP Onry in FF11 was to be a Bard. They didn't care I didn't know what they were saying. It was extremely boring for me, but it was some efficient leveling.

Your blind, they totally showed gameplay footage at their conference and it looked great. They didnt show any gameplay of NBA or the MMA game though.

That's all well and good, but its a promotion, you are getting 2 a month til the end of the year. They didn't say it would continue into next year. And besides all that, who the hell would not have a gold subscription, you can't do anything on the 360 without it...
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and retail employee are in a unqiue position to share theirs with you whether you like it or not. Its not just gamestop, If the guy shared the same opinion as the author than he wouldn't have an issue. Totally not worth writing about...

Your math is off, the publisher/Dev dont get 100% of the sales back in profit, they sell the game to stores for around 50-55 dollars and from that they have to deduct the cost of production and the fee they pay to MS, Sony, Nintendo, etc. You need to drop your numbers by about half to get a more accurate idea of profit.

Fair has nothing to do with it. They provide a service and you choose to use them or you choose not to use them. People have Craiglist, Ebay, Amazon, etc to sell their games. But they use Gamestop, because its less hassle. I use Gamestop for that very reason, i usually get 30 or more for a new used game depending on the trade bonus they are offering. I think it very acceptable to the convenience of it...
I agree to a point, but there is no value in keeping a game you will never play again. I keep the ones I may want to play again, or ones that I would like to introduce my future child too. That said if you trade in at the right times with the right promotions its not bad at all. You will always get more selling on ebay, craiglist etc, but to me its worth the lesser value to not have to deal with shipping or someone that may try to rob me...
