Nintendo did not learn from their mistake. The reason third party games didnt sell on the Wii is because honestly they feel last gen, like a ps2 game. Comparing third party games on wii to ps3/360 i much rather get ps3/360. Now they release WiiU par maybe slightly better than current gen console. Once the next gen ps4/720 come out, WiiU thrid party games will feel much rather last gen, or badly ported to the WiiU. The problem is every single third party game other then Monster Hunter TRI and Xenoblade feels like last gen, it feel like a 360/PS3 downloadable game at most. Compare to 360/PS3 3rd party game's depth, online support, graphic, and scope of the game, the Wii third party sucks shit. Whats worse all thrid party games on wii are pretty much low budget because they dont suspect much return. Only Wii first party from Nintendo put money and time into game, making it this gen experience.
Obivously microsoft have too much pride to admit defeat to Sony and it's Blu Ray technology. I am wondering, however, is it possible for them to buy the HD DVD rights from Toshiba, and implement them on the next xbox. I know HDDVD is dead, but the technology is still there.
