I'm aware that some studios can be huge which is why I mentioned the extent of employees Mojang has towards the end of the article.
Perhaps you're right about indie's not being able to overtake AA and AAA games but some of them (not all of them) do have the ability to surpass those games in terms of creativity.
I agree. I feel like indie devs put a lot more time into making the game as perfect as they want without needing to worry about deadlines or appeasing publishers.
Sorry to say that I've never really played an isometric game. Although, the Baldur's Gate games look interesting...
I like your No. 1 :P
I'm a little worried that if all the VR headsets really take off, Nintendo is going to fall behind even further. Unless the NX is a VR headset, which I doubt it is :P
I was a little shocked when I found that out too. It's a little hard to believe the franchise is still so popular with that many games.
This kind of sucks for gamers...
I love Far Cry 4. It's the only thing Ubisoft have gotten right in the last year or two :P Hope this is great too.
I was pretty upset when I watched this. I thought the BBC would take less of a biased standpoint and yet they seemed to support Jack Thompson all the way. They must have known the majority of people who watched this would be gamers and yet they targeted it towards people who wanted proof video games are bad.
It's refreshing when a good sequel comes along. Completely agree with Gold and Silver :)
Maybe not iconic, but I've always liked the theme tunes in the Final Fantasy games :)
That was... interesting...
I don't buy remasters if I have the originals unless it offers more than just prettier graphics :P
Sounds pretty interesting. Might give it a try :)
Pretty interesting stuff. The internet seems to latch onto every myth and legend in video games. The Five Nights at Freddy's conspiracy's are insane :P
I was going to put it in but I've never played it. It sounds pretty interesting though.
I actually forgot that Syndicate was coming out this month :P Looking forward to seeing Prison Architect when it's completely finished.
I guess it isn't really necessary for a company as big as Activision to create controversial advertising but getting the BO3 name talked about seems to have worked. It's a horrible thing to do but if Activision wanted to get more attention for Black Ops III, this certainly did it.
I don't think I've ever brought any DLC which might be strange but I find I'm usually satisfied enough with a game as it is.
If the script is rubbish, I don't think a celebrity can make it better. But if you're asking whether you put a celebrity in a game with a good script, good gameplay, and good graphics; in that case, yes, the game is more memorable.
