People like this never go to jail if they get caught.. They get offered deals etc to work for government agencys to do stuff for them, Happens all the time apparently.

I need to try this, i downloaded zombie nation no problem.. went to have a look at wipeout just to see the size of the files, i didnt download anything. came out of that and could no longer download my 2nd game of choice :(

Downloaded the Firmware this morning..now 12.40 and still cannot connect :( I wanna play Shift 2 online.. im wanting the new DLC for it also but i suppose when PSN is up i wont be able to get it till the rest of the stuff is up.. i need to add funds to my account.

This is true.. But the advancements in Technology seems to get faster and faster than ever before.
The next consoles should be made with the ability to be upgraded imo.
Think of it this way... you wouldnt use the same mobile phone for 5 or 6 years would you :)
Technology is always moving forward, be thankful you do not have to buy a new console every one or two years!
I called up my bank (in the uk) an hour ago and they said to me thay are advising people not to cancel or ask for a new card as they have been ordered by some official body to ramp up their anti fraud detection up to the max.
Apparently if someone uses any card by my bank for fraud.. it will leave a paper trail for them to follow etc. I presume all banks in the UK have been given this order. I am not so worried now about fraud being commited on my card, But am more worried ...

I do not think all the CC details are on Sonys server.. only a small part of it.. i Believe your PS3 Stores all the data, so when you buy something.. it matches up with details Sony keeps on their side.
Remember when you 1st enter your CC details onto your PS3.. it goes through the process to verify that its real.. once verified i presume all the details are stored on your ps3 and only fragments of your card details are on ...
Thats because they all use lead free solder now.. Where i work i have reballed so many original PS3 Phats with leaded solder on the GPU and have had none back (what does that tell you) ... same goes for the early xbox 360's
