Whats online content have to do with retailers?
The way it usually works over here is this..
1. A retailer breaks the release date (usually a store that usually know nothing about games or street dates) ... Tesco is a food supermarket.
2. Once other retailers find out, they follow suit.
3. Since they were not the 1st to break the street date, there will be no comeback on them.. this happened all the time when i worked in HMV and Game...
MS cant fine stores here in the UK.. they can ask to withold it again till its release date, and threaten not to support them or supply, but they can get it anyway from other outlets
.. but its up to the 'good will' of the retailer to do so.. street dates get broken here all the time.. what makes Halo 3 any different to be honest.. just coz its Halo 3?

PGR 4 = Arcade
GT 5 = Sim

They are two totally different types of racing genre.
you cannot base a game on screen shots alone mate, i wish people would realise that, plus demo's are never the same as the full release either, sometimes the vid demo is made to look sweeter than the actual full game.
No one know's till they actually gets thier hands on the full game and see it running on thier own TV
PGR 5 is already in the making mate :).. and will appear on the 360.
I for one is well looking forward to this game!
IMO.. no vid can show how good this game looks, only till you see it on your own TV shall you understand.
I seen this game running during the festival here in Edinburgh (there was a games arena showing off all the titles heading our way, not just for the 360 i might add) and it looked way better than the vids out there!
This is a must buy for me :)
I thought the US was getting the game on the 2nd.. 10 days before Europe and the UK.
Still, being from the UK.. its cool that no one will get a head start in the game :)
The choice for me at the moment is either this or halo 3, i cannot afford both due to household bills etc, and money for the pub :P
I am leaning more towards this 1st then halo 3 afterwards (please dont go mental at me halo fans) i prefer...

its a bit slow to start off but soon picks up, the story is good and so is the graphics.. they remind me of DBZ, the character design.
I got this game free with my Elite, but i would have to say.. i would still buy it.. its a welcome change to all the fps and driving games!
Yeah i find it funny also that people who do not live in the UK, seem to think they know it all about the UK market.. i Live in the UK, i have a lot of mates who work in Gamestation, Game, HMV, Virgin etc.. and they all tell me that the 360's are flying off of the shelfs, even more so since the price drop!
