But it's a terribly written article that offers no detail or explanation.

"When I first heard that Perfect Dark was headed to the Xbox LIVE Arcade I was excited on the inside."

?????

"The single player in Perfect Dark on the Xbox LIVE Arcade is nearly identical to the original. When I was playing one of the missions, I did look online for a walkthrough from the N64. I did find one, but I did notice a few things were different. I didn’t mi...

Was this written by a ten year old?

They have played the game to make the claim.

Looks pretty detailed here.

I'm well encouraged after reading that although some SPOILERS in the preview. Maybe this will be Xbox 360's GOTY.

But these aren't Xbox 360 screens, they must be from superior PS3 version. :op

underwhelming, and that's being polite.

Obviously not. He clearly states that the game type, whilst very cool wasn't very accessible to the masses so it was dropped.

I like the look of this, but releasing at the same time as Splinter Cell Conviction is not a good thing, I guess it's better for PS3 owners. :0)

You just sound like a disgruntled fan who's afraid of change. Just because the game doesn't meet your expectations doesn't make it a 'bad' game. And by all means, go back and play the old games again, they still exist y'know.

Yes lots of those (non playable creatures).

It's one on one, spy versus spy but with loads of AI roaming around the maps at random.

because it wasn't accessible enough to Johnny average gamer. Look at how popular MW 2, Halo etc are. Due to the ease of play. Splinter Cell games required a lot more commitment from the player.

I also think the team just wanted to move on from that and create something new within the stealth genre.

@"total alienation of the fans". Aww c'mon, the single player portion of the game has as much if not more of a following, considering the series' first game had...

Was excellent in its day and in all honesty should have its own game to make it even better. They nerfed it with DA though even though bots were an excellent inclusion. However, the game style was very niche and didn't appeal to the masses. It took a lot to learn how to play properly and co-operatively, which many gamers didn't have the patience for, other than the small following the game has today.

SCC has Spy vs Spy and a whole lot of co-op gameplay, some versus the AI. I thin...

is with these crappy foreign websites thinking people want to watch the whole game on youtube videos and the endings. They do it for hits, but who is clicking these links, thus encouraging them?

And who the hell approves these stories?

Awww c'mon.

I think the PC release date is the same as the Xbox 360 version which is April 13th US and 16th in Europe.

So is this what it boils down to, an eye for an eye? Oh please, grow up will you. This is videogames, entertainment, enjoyment, not raping your younger sister.

5873d ago 5 agree9 disagreeView comment

Give it up already.

5873d ago 8 agree16 disagreeView comment

I think it means HD video of the game as opposed to some crappy youtube low quality video.
