Wow. Even if it is hard to admit, but Microsoft is on the right track. That's some great news for 360-only owners.
Yeah! I've been waiting so long for this game. Hope there is a beach-like map in the multiplayer, just like in the old rtcw. That was so awesome. First and best mp experience ever.
I guess a lot of them play videogames night and day, so they lost perspective. It's like eating ice-cream everyday.
I personally have a lot of fun even with Tetris, when I do not play for a few weeks.
I think it is very good to make a personal comment at the end of the review. How the good stuff overweights the bads, if they had fun etc.
But first of all I want to read technical stuff and good researched pros and cons of a game. So a rather objective article than a s...
One good thing with these comparison reviews. Game devs and publishers are warned, that ppl take messy coding serious. Other than that...yeah, devs finally get use to code for the ps3.
They gave Conflict Denied Ops 5/10. And 4/10 to Haze? rofl
This site lost perspective.
The graphics aren't ugly. And the performance is better than lots of other games. Ok, the palm leaves are really designed mediocre. But that's it. There are indeed graphically impressive scenes, which were happily ignored by this gamespy reviewer. So do not believe these one-sided reviewers. It's not just a matter of a different opinion. Maybe these guys were bad at school and don't know how to write a believable argumentation with significant pros and cons. It's not a must buy, but I wouldn'...
I've just played the first 2 stages now and I think it's pretty fun. Some textures are really just average, but everything runs and appears very smooth, no annoying layered edges like in CoD4 or Timeshift.
I think the devs wanted to create a rather fun and fuzz-free experience than a totally serious one. Don't know, if it's worth buying, but it's definately not a poor game.
Seoul or Rio would be nice
...why so much ingame money? Ok, I got the ps3 and therefor no achievements. But there are so many "useless" sidequests for money and there's actually no point in having so much (almost $800k). This totally bothers me and tops every other flaws and bugs story.
Maybe I overlooked something in this game. When it's so, please clarify me ppl.
...they could make a sequel within a year.......or not^^
Especially the experience on track, realistic graphics + handling of cars, is amazing. I can't say, if GT is the best racing game, but it is so addictive, the feeling is just awesome. Sometimes very diffcult, but never really unfair.
I think the reviewer missed the point, what this game is all about.
The only annoying thing is the bumping of edges in time trials.
The devs need to fix this asap!
But I mentioned this already.
There are a few "hard to ...
That's not really new, cause GT-HD had the same problem.
Penalty system is good and fine, if it worked...but it doesn't. There's definately a huge space of improvement for GT5 next year and I'm not talking about numbers of cars or circuits.
I really hate the fact, that online records on time attack mode are achieved by bumping against walls and edges. Watch every top 10 ghost-replay and you will see, what I mean.
I think adding damage can be a good measure against this silly phenomenon, and turn this "scooter game" into something better.
Furthermore it is funny, that I try to avoid to have contact with other cars, even though I know there are no penalties. Just to drive with style. I guess damage wou...
I somehow can see it coming...this movie won't do Payne justice, even though Wahlberg isn't that bad.
If anyone is interested in a Max Payne-like movie, watch Death Sentence. Very nice one.
When gameplay and story can hold up with the very promising graphics, and I'm talking bout both games, then they're gonna be totally awesome. No need to be rude or aggressive. Actually you can't react anyway other than being grateful for these devs.
Well, the internet is a big nasty place, where you can't prevent immature ppl from writing.
I absolutely understand, when we are talking about MP3 downloads. Grab it and play these songs on a tiny Player, which can be easily carried along while standing in a bus etc. Definately better than a Disc-Man.
But when it comes down to movies, I bet most of the people are relaxing on the sofa and watch dvds.
The author absolutely fails, when he made that comment under sims: "…I'm not a casual gamer, and I don't get this phenomenon."
There he admits, that it's all his hardcore gamer's point of view, instead of a somehow objective breakdown. It is sooo obvious, that half of the games listed, are NOT intended to be for hardcore gamers.
It's like saying (as a boy) that Barbies are overrated as playthings...
I could beat minesweeper on expert in like 121 sec. once. But 37 sec.??
In Ikaruga I never had the patience to beat the last boss in single player lol. And yea, this tetris guy is insane^^
In the end both formats are just media. When one side wins, the production costs for the winner will drastically go down and so do recorders'and players'costs. So why would someone wanna choose a medium with half the storage capacity than the other? That would actually be a step backward.
Wow. Very promising. This is indeed good news :)
