Maybe that's all PS3 can handle. PS3 exclusives are hand painted cartoony linear games. Anything more brings PS3 to a crawl. The best PS3 can do with photo realism is color filtered low rez cartoony ART like KZ2/3.
Detailed games with color have to be cartoony hand painted games that are linear like Uncharted. Anything more open than Uncharted and PS3's smoke and mirrors short cuts are useless and PS3 starts to show its real capability.

I think PS3 fanboys keep downplaying the Crysis on consoles because the devs won't show the PS3 version of Crysis not to mention PS3 fanboys can still claim PS3 exclusives as console kings.
Hardcore gamers have cabinets full of games and accessories. Also Kinect does much more than play games. Hardcore gamers spend much more time and money on games. The term doesn't mean they only play shooters or bloody hack n slash games.
Casuals might play a platformer, Madden, COD or a new social party game every once in a blue moon only playing a few different franchises.

I think the holiday release was just a place holder. Microsoft said they have some big titles up their sleeves. I think Kingdoms is a higher profile game to Microsoft for this year and god knows what else.

Why does the game need to be compared to another game for you to be able to admit it's a average scoring game? So because you have to come to terms with a low scoring PS3 game you have to even it out with a 360 game? Why not say KZ3 is scoring like Gt5?

I have a PS3 and use it much less but I don't put it away.
Not surprising at all but I am surprised the media were so scared of GT fanboys they would even compare GT5 with Forza as a Sim. I guess the 84 on meta says it all. GT gameplay seems arcadey. I think Forza 4 will be the tipping point for the franchise to get total global respect.
The game was a year old and the edge the PS3 version had was a lie to hype the PS3 version for sales. No one fell for it and no one wants to play sloppy seconds.
