thats why i have all consoles because of studio exclusives so yeah it does work for them i guess lol. i dont mind spending money on new toys every 6 years or so keeps it fun and interesting to say the least and i dont miss out on aything by being a fan of one console they all are great!

who gives a shit? if it has good games and you can afford more then one console then just make yourself happy and buy it! why is there this divide in video games? we all like them who cares what platform they are on...

lets face it games have problems but im not experiencing anything but fun with this game, but it does have occasional server disconnect but what doesn't these days ... oh well there is always that one person...

this all started in the ps2 days and original xbox days with "special editions" and pre order bonuses this shoulkd be no surprise to any gamer in their 30's
i understand why everyone likes the underground series but don't forget that if it wasn't for the originals there would be no need for speed and in my opinion "someone who has played need for speed since the road and track version" criterion did a hell of a job with hot pursuit!

i agree, i knew this was coming as soon as they started doing collectors edition games for an extra ten bucks in the ps2 xbox days. now games are 60 bucks period. i know back in the day when cartridge based games were still a thing that they were more expensive, ah neo geo anyone?? but that was because memory was very exspensive. nintendo did it right in the 80's with such strict rules for developers the game had to be finished! there were no updates, now i think developers are more laxed...
i hate when people review a fps and they say its not innovative enough, i mean there really is only so much you can do to a fps before it becomes frustrating. i am however very satisfied with the game giving it a second go on the campaign i think its really fun to upgrade your weapons,collect intel, and learn about some of the back story elements of the franchise. i just think that if its not a modern warfare, battlefield, or halo people think its crap for some reason.
the ps2 will use component cables gran turismo 4 can run in 1080i and logitec has really nice wireless controllers for the system.
i just think that if you have never played gran turismo from the beginning you just don't get it. this has nothing to do with fanboyism or witch console is better, now i have played forza since the first one along with every need for speed, burnout, project gotham, metropolis street racer ;-) to name a few and the fact of the matter is i love racing games. the fact that gran turismo has been around for a very long time and if it did not exist forza or any other racer/sim game would probal...
how many of these are rrod replacement units? thats why i think the numbers are so high. i know people that have boiught 4 of these things because of out of warranty issues or they just want the new models. i myself have had 3. 2 rrod and one banned.
there has to be a ton of tracks through the wipeout series to warrant a spot on this list!
it might be a way to transfer you statistics to a paper format so you can monitor whats going on with your race car or team. like overall speed braking graphical information who knows but sounds the most logical to me
