But the whole fanboy argument will become irrelevant once the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 is released. It may be a year or so, but it's inevitable.
"causes the disc to spin too fast in the PS3 thus blowing the Blu Ray lens"
I don't think so.
I think what people are referring to as "community" is actually all of the marketing and advertising that permeates the NXE. With the PSN, if I want that stuff, I have to go to the Playstation Store or into Home, I have to seek it out. If I want to see what my friends are doing, I can do that, too. But I don't have to sift through a bunch of tabs that are ultimately trying to sell me something.
Perhaps, one day, PSN will have cross-game chat and party chat, and Xbo...
Just like the Orange Box. Hopefully they will do a better job of porting it.
If it's a typo, perhaps Microsoft's check hasn't cleared yet! Just kidding.
I don't use Facebook or Twitter, but can't you check that stuff out using the PS3 web browser?
Microsoft is buying Epic.
Buy an Intel Mac, install Windows on it, and you can have both for the price of one.
If that's the case, Gamers Win!!!
I can't imagine it being any good at all. The "walking gun turret" combat of Resident Evil 5 and 4 doesn't seem like it would transition well into a multiplayer environment. The game mechanics seem to work when doing battle with the infected, but against other "walking turrets" it sounds ridiculous.
No thanks. I'll just play mercenaries mode.
Six months out from the release of the third expansion, the Microsoft paid timed exclusivity will expire and the enhanced versions of the dlc will be released on PSN. Just like the GTA IV episodes.
Halo Wars is more likely to be a rental than a must buy.
Apparently Gamecock was involved with this IP at one time, which means it's likely utter crap. Sounds like the next HAZE to me. (I didn't actually play HAZE, but I heard it sucked. Sorry for insulting it if you liked it.)
I don't own the XBOX 360 version so I won't be able to experience this expansion. I also don't know if I would be willing to pay another $20 for what will likely be more of the same or something new for a brief period of time. I look forward to reading enthusiast press opinions on the quality and value of the content.
It will have to be as good as the first game. It will most likely be even better.
I couldn't tell if the chainsaw duels required button mashing. It seems likely that they would. That could become a bit tedious, but the results look satisfying.
Using locust soldiers as shields is a nice touch. I would like to see what they have done with the "curb stomp" mechanic. It's probably been enhanced.
I look forward to playing this game.
I don't understand the...
But seems more like a middle finger to anyone who isn't smart enough to wait for a blu-ray add-on. I'm sure it's coming. Save your money.
Halo 2 did not lead to victory last generation and Halo 3 will not guarantee victory this generation. For that guy to say it's the nail in Sony's coffin is ridiculous. Sony doesn't even have a coffin at this point.
This article possesses very little useful information, like half the articles linked to n4g. Written by an amateur.
What's with the hate, Daytona?
MGS3 is the best, imho, but I still love MGS4!!! Looking forward to replaying this beast for a significant amount of time!
