Those people simply wants to justify why Vita will be doomed, it's because Sony destroyed Nintendo twice in the console market that they don't want that to be repeated on the handhelds.... They will always say a Nintendo this & that will be better because it has Mario, Zelda & now Monster Hunter.... They seem to forget Nintendo did an exclusive contract wit Capcom in regards of the Resident Evil series but the fact is that it didn't stop the PS2 from destroying the Gamecub...
@ orange-skittle- Actually, I grew up in the Genesis-NES-SNES era, I have always being a Sega fan from the beginning, I was totally into both Sega & Sony(Nintendo to a little extent, when it came to Nintendo, I was more into 3rd party games), I have my Genesis,Saturn, DC, & PS2 with lots of great games I would never sell... BTW, you can't say PS2 didn't do anything the PS1 didn't already did, when it was the first console to fully play DVD movies, it was that game console ...
@ Bundi- I see you don't know anything about previous gens, all the way from NES to PS2 has being the golden years, why??? because a lot of good games from every genre, on consoles, handhelds, PCs & Arcades.... What the hell do you know about gaming when I've seen a lot of great games for every console, specially PS2, covering every genre... The PS2 gen is regarded as the best, not only of Japanese devs, but also there were good western games like Burnout, Black, WWE games, Splint...

I think it's a matter of how they'll market the Vita and how they'll support it along with the 3rd party games, Sony overtook Nintendo twice in the console market, even if N64 & Gamecube had Mario games each... There is a chance they can overtake Nintendo in the handheld's department... But since the 3DS is now $169.99, it might not outsell the 3DS because of the average consumer and casual market, but I think it'll just do very fine and become a success, Vita not havi...
I play games, not sales, and believe it or not the PS3 delivered more than Xbox, and I really enjoyed most of the PS3 exclusives despite of low sales, who gives a fuck about sales??? the companies does, the gamers care about playing games!!!
Agreed, this has being my most anticipated fighter, and I think this will be the fighter I will enjoy the most this gen, because I lost interest in SF, MVC, MK and tekken are still great, but not as much as this, love SNK!!!!
PSP has Street Fighter Alpha 3, King of Fighters, Metal Gear Solid PO/PW, God of War, Tekken, 2 console/looking GTA games, R-Type, Silent Hill, plus PS1 classics and great RPGs, do you think me and others should care if the DS outsold PSP, when PSP is sitting at 75+ million which is considered a success, not a failure like you're trying to make it look like!!!!!

@ Death- For your Information, very few games in my PS3 collection requires Instals, BTW, I wouldn't waste my time bothering plugging a USB stick or 2 on a useless 4gb drive when I can buy a 500gb HDD for an affordable price, but as of right now, I don't need it since there's still plenty of space left that would last for a long more time... So still, 4gb is useless!!!!!

I have a question to ask, when some sites, especially Xbox sites claims multiplats sells more on the 360, do they mean U.S. sales or worldwide sales???, because I went to VGchartz(which I don't usually go a lot) shows mostly 1rst Person shooters and games like Assassin's Creed, & Skyrim or Madden selling more on the 360 overall when I check others like Need for Speed, Street Fighter, Castlevania, Grid, Batman AA, Tekken, Fifa selling more overall on PS3, even Bayonetta with that h...

@ Gran Touring- Dude I was one of the early adopters of the PS2, despite being a yearly series, the first PS2 Madden looked impressive, I had NFL 2k1 for DC, but I had to say that Madden 01 looked a lot better than 2K1(Graphically), I found the graphics impressive, but I was not like "Woww" until I looked at GT3, MGS2 & DMC!!!! But I always knew the NFL 2Ks were always better games than Maddens!!!!
@ Orange- I didn't say it introduced DVD, but Sony co-developed DVD along with Phillips & Toshiba if you didn't know, but DVD really took off & became the media of choice because of Sony & the PS2, not Phillips.....
Dreamcast brought online, that was the console that started that gen, the PS2 didn't have a network adapter, but it came built-in with the slim model, so it wan't that bad after all!!!!!!!
