Despite being a third party game, MGS will always be known as a Playstation series, no matter how many platforms it'll go to, just like Mass Effect & Splinter Cell as an Xbox series... BTW, this post comes from the PS. Blog, maybe some thought it'll be an exclusive game, you not gonna see a Sony site mentioning or show an Xbox logo since it isn't their product!!!!
@ knowyourstuff- They demoed the game on the PC using the 360 controller, that didn't have anything to do with the debugger being easier since there are 360 controllers for PC, know your stuff!!

IMO is next-gen, if they didn't want the game to be shown on the web, maybe they wanna save it for TGS or for the announcement of a next gen console, very likely next year, but as I read the descriptions about the game, despite being running on PC, it might not run on current gen consoles... Who knows, maybe I'm right, maybe not, if the image is any indication of how the game will look like in real-time, then yeah, that would end up being next-gen console!!!!!

@ tehpees3 I completely agree with you, cause of all the regional divisions, mostly SCEA seems to be the ones that screw the most, as I can tell when I go every single one of the regional PS stores, the Japanese PS store trumps the U.S. one hands down with a lot more content, they have tons of PS1 games, even some that saw a U.S. release...

It's both PS1/2 designs, I think it's a big mistake Sony opted to make L2/R2 into triggers, nobody asked for it since to me it was an overall perfect controller... As I also own a Dreamcast controller, it took me a while to get used to the triggers, but one thing I give the DC controller more credit than both the original Xbox & 360 controller despite having almost the same design is the D-pad which I think is the best along with the Dualshock, Xbox & 360's D-pads for figh...
WTF are you talking about, Liverpool survived longer than let's say Bizarre Creations, & FYI, they started as a 3rd party developer, 7 survived longer than full blown publishers such as Midway & Acclaim, Wipeout started on PS1, Saturn & PC, after that the sequels appeared as PS only series as a result of Sony acquiring Liverpool.. Check your facts first before easily complaining...
