Have been playing since the closed beta and I can honestly say that it is a fun game. I didn't waste my time counting pixels and searching for screen tears! I spent every minute of every round tearing peoples chests open! When you go to a restaurant, do you spend the whole time criticizing the food? What about your date? I'm trying to get laid, phuck the food!!
Am am not expecting this to be the most graphically superior game on consoles. I just want something fresh. It just needs to run smooth and have excellent sound effects. Nothing puts me in a game like 5.1/7.1 Dolby Digital.
The beta looks good but not better then U2 final released product but who cares. The game is fun and they were very innovative in the added gameplay. ND has proven that they can make polished games. Lets just hope there isn't a visual hit because of the 3D or a shortened campaign. But from what I have played so far, they have gained at least one sale!
The kill streaks are one of the main differences that stand out from other shooters. Many people label other games as CoD clones. Taking out kill streaks would definitely close that gap. Personally, I rarely earn the highter kill streaks but regularly average 2:1 to 3:1 K/D ratios by dying after 2 or 3 kills consistently. I am a run and gunner in CoD games. I prefer running around mindlessly looking for the last guy that shot me.
The reviews I have read did keep me from buying this game, but I must admit that the pre-release trailers and review on Core, also prior to release, really hyped me up for this title. With so much controversy about it, heck, I might just rent it to form my own solid opinion and have first hand experience.
And man, this is such a bold move to blast the names of all those reviewers. I feel a war brewing.

Can't really hate on them for trying to expand. I own both consoles but I hope they don't cross over Resistance or Ratchet & Clank unless the Xbox versions come on multiple discs or M$ can magically create a 25gb disc that is compatible with their optical drive. The truth is, gaming is hindered by the limited space on dual layer. You need more disc space to create higher quality games that include an good competitive multiplayer and an extensive single player campaign. We have all...
Don't see how this article can have any truth to it. VGChartz dot com shows that the PS3 and the PSP both out sold the Xbox, DS, 3DS and the Wii on their weekly hardware charts.
PS3 166,245, PSP 146,950, DS 142,114, Xbox 141,982, 3DS 123,907, Wii 119,427
They are probably taking advantage of the extra 1gb of space that will be available on the dual layer from the new software format Microsoft created. That is good because everyone hates that the campaign is sacrificed to make room on the limited dual layer disc for multiplayer mode.
I wish this much attention went towards Japan's lie about the amount of radiation (100x higher) that is drifting into the entire west coast of America. They apologized for misplacing the decimal point though so its cool.
I have bought many things off of PSN and I am only asked for my account password. Unless I provided it in the beginning and the information was stored. That was 5 years ago. So I really don't recall.
Almost all purchases online ask for CCV codes. But now that I think about it, I only enter my PSN password and not the CCV code for purchases on PSN. There is no way that information is stored if I have never provided it. Never put much thought into credit card theft until this incident. I thought it was mandatory to request the CCV code for purchases over the phone or online to help prove you are the possessor of the card.
And there are no fatalities when beating Shao Khan on the ladder mode.
The way I always beat Shao Khan is to keep walking backwards. He will keep throwing spear just duck, not block. Then when you are far enough, he will constantly taunt. strike only when he taunts then back away again. I got a flawless victory that way with Lui kang and Scorpion. You can not fight close. The hammer is virtually unstoppable.
The only thing that will kill the NGP is the price. However other factors like backwards compatibility are important. Sony says it will have a new proprietary game disc. And whether or not consumers must buy both copies for PS3 & NGP. Their new cloud service for game saves in transferable between the two. So if you buy the PS3 version, a free download token for the NGP version would be appreciated.
Gaming on smart phones can never fully replace or compare to consoles or handhelds. It is just more of a convenience thing. A lot of people have put away digital cameras because phones have stepped up their lens quality. My point is that although mobile phone gaming is by far not better, it will still affect the sales generated from "casual" gamers.
Definitely agree with the majority of your statement except 3D not being a big deal. 3D is being included in more and more games as the months go by. Movie theaters are constantly showing 3D movies. And starting next month, smart phones will be launching with 3D viewing and 3D image capture capabilities. Couple that with Android 2.3 for gaming and it can be safely said that 3D has been integrated everywhere.
Hey bud, I happen to like Jessica Alba even though she has herpes.
If true, then the bad side is that the pack can't be discounted even being old maps. Because they heavily promoted the total savings for the four packs when you subscribe to Elite. Am I the only fan of WaW? I would like them to make all the private match alternative modes available in the public match menu. Great for those with short friends list.
