Rabbit out of a hat?
It does allow your media to lie to you.
'No it does not! It allows you to state an opinion, which by itself cannot be a lie. It is an opinion not a fact.'
News is a collection of facts. You said yourself it is opinion, not based on fact. So Fox news should be called Fox Opinions. The fact they call it news makes what they say a lie.
Censoring hate speech is not persecuting racist people. I read that aloud to a room full of people who ...
I said nothing of the sort. The article mentions the restrictions of free speech...only in America is racism protected under the guise of free speech.
Nearly every other civilised country has laws against hate speech. People who shout on buses that black people should go back to where they come from get arrested here.
That doesn't stop it from happening of course...but there are legal ramifications for doing it here. Not in America.
Only in America do people believe they are free because they can say what they like. Despite being practically chastised in every other way conceivable and having far less human rights than some other countries.
The concept of free speech is recognised in many countries but only in the USA has it been perverted to extend to protection of the hateful.
It allows your media to blatently lie to you. Corporations are regarded as people so also protected by free sp...
Uncharted: Golden Abyss has a camera and a ton of photographs you have to take.
'Problems With A Teen Rating'?
Make it an r18. People will still buy it for their 10 year olds.
Exactly....that's like saying any puzzle in GoW/Tomb Raider/Uncharted etc that you have to stop moving to think about. Breaks gameplay because your not on the move...I've never heard it mentioned about anything else before.
Except maybe game breaking glitches.
And anyway I'm pretty sure you could poke the back pad whilst moving anyway unless you've the tiny fingers of an 8 yr old.
My Vita in it's ridiculously clunky protective box goes everywhere with me. It just means now I carry a bag with me wherever I go.
The tube is full of commuters with ipads. People play them on the go.
Everyone I know who has one actually. Actually I know more people who have android tablets.
But these people were and are not gamers. They would never buy a console. They seem happy enough to poke at a screen....wait 2 mins till a house is built/sheep is made/progress bar has filled and then poke it again. Rinse, lather, repeat.
Just looked at the full patent filing. There's a picture of a mouse and keyboard connected to ps3. It's listed there with other peripharals like dualshock/move/camera/handheld . So you might just get your wish.
Theres also some wierd cloud based application with people in different homes in front of camaras..all using different controllers who all appear to be playing the same game together.
I don't get why using the rear pad 'breaks gameplay'
It hasn't on other titles...It's stretching out the fingers.
You get used to it in no time.
Bovine faeces!
Lbp has the thermometer to tell you how much sytem memory is left. Does this game have a limit to the number of screens/instruments in a level?
It's out till next week in EU :(
Yeah that front facing camera....is less than flattering.
It's like seeing someone through one of those peepholes in peoples doors. Why would anyone open the door? They makes everyone look like a murderer.
I wondered when this would have been picked up on by journalists.
True...it hasn't stopped me taking advantage of the discounts!
Even Kotaku sung it's praises. And didn't slag off Sony.
Either this game is as awesome as people make out...or Sony took out their cheque book.
Was expecting a whinge...got a well written article instead!
To be fair it's stopped me buying some titles. R&c:all4one, was given away in the usa, it's cheap here but I didn't buy it, I'm expecting it to be in eu+ soon.
The stuff they had given away I mostly had on bluray, but happy to have them on my hdd...meant I could trade the discs towards new games!
This game is awesome....the musical numbers are wicked.
Just tested mine, works fine over remote play-private network. Stuttered a bit at first, first cutscene had a little screen tear, seems to have gotten into it's stride...no noticable lag.
Not tried over the internet yet.
Would have thought it would have been fullscreen though.
