you know it's funny you mention the price of PS3 launch. i think people seem to forget the PS3 is not the first home console to launch with such a high price point. take a look below
Panasonic 3DO $699.95 only 2 million sold (no longer exists)
Neo-Geo $649.99 (best package)
$399.99 (cheaper package) they don't even have numbers on how many this has sold. (no longer exists)
now PS3 $499/599 35 million and counting. here'...
i got better things to spend my $150 on than it and shovelware.
Its the one that actually works with core games. So yea imma go with the Move on this one.
I do not want a camera for shovelware.
There are some sad people on this site when you can disagree with someone who has all 3 systems and great games for each one.
I truly hate this site most of the times.
I don't play that stupid game of hating. Each system has games I can't play on the other system.
Those who live for the sales can rejoice and sleep better tonight.
Question for those who live for the sales do you really think any of these 3 companies will be leaving the industry anytime soon?
Also do you guys get a cut of th sales or does it all just go to billie gates?
will be the last CoD game i'll buy mostly for the single player since i only play online once in a blue moon. but i know one thing if i was into competitive online i would not like activision or these companies hold me up for more money just to play online.
i haven't seen this many VGC articles back to back on N4G in my life.
i haven't seen this many VGC articles in my life on N4G.
@bioshock it really doesn't bother me none as i don't care about the sales. i know none of the 3 companies will be leaving the business no time soon, and i still have a lot of great games to get and play on all 3.
unlike some here i don't live for sales, i don't get any money from any of the 3 companies so why should i care; i was just amazed at how VGC is showing up more frequentl...
NO
I don't pay for Live, I sure as hell wouldn't pay for this.
Collectors preordered, and it will be my personal goty also.
I like single player experience more then competitive online play. Its bad enough they already charge for dlc now you wanna charge for me to play online if I feel the need to.
I don't do it with Live and I sure as hell won't be doing it with this if it comes true.
here's a question for you if the 360 was still outselling the PS3 worldwide for the past 3 years how do you suppose the gap has shorten to 5 million when it was at 8 million a few years back?
it's just simple math to shorten a gap you have to outsell the other and that's what happened here.
you speak the truth my friend i now find myself not even clicking the so called articles on this site because it's not actually news and most if not all of them are flamebait articles just to get hits.
those arguing back and forth like fanboys are kinda sad in my eyes because instead being gamers as you claim to be; your just hating on the other system and its games because of some blind loyalty.
i'm not gonna sit here and lie i do tend to favor the PS3 exclusives more because of the variety, and for the fact that they are games that i actually like. i've said from the beginning that M$ should use their money to create/purchase studios to make some unique games n...
End of the month npd article can spark this type of responses from the fanboys on both sides.
Everybody feels vindicated with their purchase now?
I have all 3 consoles but I play my PS3 more because of all the great (true) exclusives. This is not to say I don't enjoy both the Wii and 360.
60fps seems perfect for online competitive play, while 30fps is just fine for the single player. when i played both KZ2 and CoD online it didnt make a bit of difference to me because i learned to adapt.
i learn to adapt to KZ2 control scheme and i loved it; i wouldnt use any other control scheme to play KZ. as for Rage being 60fps its no big deal most games this gen are either 30fps or 60fps.
i'm done with you and this series i've wasted a combined total of $110 on both part 1&2 and was completely disappointed in both.
