"cost more than your entire family"?? Depends on your family I suppose.
Only thing missing for me is RF. Still going to buy though.
My Xbox is for 360 exclusives and the wife and kids. My PS3 is for me, sony exclusives and online games. I can't really lose this way.
The game would have been hurt if it had been rushed to market and hadn't been as polished as it is going to be on launch. I can see the headlines now.
Both
Not a bad selection. Pity those early adopters can't get the games.
Don't know if this means anything but my local Games shops lists 30 September as the date. http://www.mightyape.co.nz/...
I personally disagree with all 5 points, however I can't deny someone their right to have a different opinion to my own. I had a launch PS3 but recently sold it and bought a 250gb slim. I don't own a 360 but would like one purely because of some of their exclusives. At the moment I can't however justify the cost. Maybe one day....
2nd analog stick and games should be cheaper.
Why not just buy a PS3?
Make the games cheaper!! I got one but am put off games by their high price.
I have a pspgo and love it. There are however some very valid points made. Especially concerning the price of new games. Having said that I am glad I sold my slim psp in favor of the go. ps I love bluetooth.
I've always thought that the average score should be calculated differently. Take away the top and bottom 10% of games and then calculate the average. This way most extreme scores are avoided.
$18 depends on where in the world the PS3 is bought. In New Zealand a PS3 has a RRP of $433US. My launch model was $827US. I don't regret one cent. Having said that if the price comes down further I might have to grab a second unit for the bedroom.
Sony will promote this game like they haven't promoted anything else in the last couple of years. I think they see this like the Trojan horse. I expect big things from the marketing department even though it won't sell as well as they hope due to the crowded market for games at the moment.
Got the first one in my collection but only played for 15 minutes. Always mean to give it another whirl. By the time I finish it, number two will be in the bargain bin.
Interesting game. Might not be for everyone but I think I will be adding to my game collection.
The Winner? We the customers!
With the amount of "Disagree" votes it becomes obvious that the latter of the two reasons is more prevalent when subjects of this matter are discussed. Pity.
Great, well thought out article. Agree with the points made.
