Honestly, I've been playing lots of UC2 recently and my experience has been different than yours. There's lots of climbing and strategy involved. If anything matches are more exciting now.
I think the problem is that you are a good player. So you're not rewarded as much as you were before. But you're still rewarded. I think if you hadn't played with the old health, you wouldn't complain now.

The old system was too rewarding to highly skilled players and too punishing for average players. As a result it discouraged many from playing UC2 multiplayer. The new health is more balanced and while skilled players still can score higher than the rest, they can't do it as easy as before, which is a good thing.

I think you're missing the point; it's not that Xbox is less profitable than Windows.

If you're rewarded to a degree that you're running and gunning all the time, absorbing full clips along the way, while the "average" gamer spends the better part of a match staring at stats tables, waiting to be respawned, then the game's unbalanced.
