There is no evidence of Microsoft or/and Sony rejected/said no to a Bayonetta 2.
There is not a shred of evidence implying this. The only thing is Platinum Games saying "Without Nin there wouldnt be Bayo 2". That could mean in their eyes they saw no future for Bayo 2 if Sega and Nintendo said no.
There is however evidence that implies that Nintendo was the second and LAST company (after Sega) that was asked to publish Bayo 2. In other words, Sony and Micros...
I think Nintendo is one of the company that are doing things right. They have a good approach to game design compared to other companies.
They don´t focus much on graphics.
But...that is exactly what Platinum Games as a studio do with their games.
Nintendo has little to teach Platinum Games about gameplay, especially gameplay in a Hack and Slash genre.

This is Platinum Games, one of the best Hack and Slash game developers, if not the best.
I am sure Nintendo has good feedback so that PG can make a even better game, but i dont think that Bayonetta 2 being a very great game is soley because Nintendo is in the picture.

That article writer watched Eventstatus's video and decided to work against it by creating that article. He thought "OH shit DmC the game i like and it's rebooted Dante is being disliked!! I need to do something!".

Demon Souls and Dark Souls are both the same game from a gameplay point of view.
But both of them were great games.
Dark Souls were from many angles, more polished than Demon Souls.
It had things that Demon Souls didn't.
Bayonetta 2 will be a more polished Bayonetta 1, have coop and new story and stuff.
You cant ask for more from a sequel... ...
