I fail to see how guild wars 2 was a bad example. Came out on August 28, 2012. The game went free to play. A real slap in the face for people who bought it. Then it's first expansion came out October 23, 2015.
That is a good example why buy to play does not work.
Elder scrolls isn't free to play its buy to play and its a prime example why buy to play does not work. FFXIV is thriving because the company knows they are getting a constant flow of cash.
The subscription model shows quality. It works for the player and the company. Steady updates. You aren't just a number since you are a paying customer that is keeping them in business.

Have to disagree. Most shooters that are supposed be for "mature audience" does not take skill. All about who see who first. While as plants vs zombies the kill time and skill to aim for head shots is much higher.
Love the beta. I find it much better then the first one. Faster pace and players have to rely on one another to take down opponents.

Yep. I have never heard of the game and it just came out in psn. Reading the description I'm like wow this game must ne good. It was pretty pricey too for $20.
Once I got to the end . I'm like the story was meh and I felt ripped off for $20. I got more value for life is strange and kings quest 1st episode for only $10.
Gone home is really overrated and I like games like until dawn , beyond two souls and life is strange .

I believe you missed the whole point and your example does not even relate to what I said.
The moral was why are you so concern with what someone likes when it does not even affect you. If you like game but don't like what someone is doing with their money. You really should not let that deteriorate from buying the next game.

As a big sonic fan. Sonic games aren't as bad that people make it out to be.
Sonic 06 was bad but some stages like kingdom Valley was decent.
Sonic unleash the day time stages were a blast.
Sonic rush was really good.
Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed is a blast. I find it better then Mario kart 8!
Sonic Generations was a step in the right direction. While I found the 3D version more fun then the 2D version...

Idc if I get flagged for this but I can not stand open world RPGS. Witcher 3 put me to sleep with all that travel in between main missions. Skyrim was the same way. BloodBorne gets a pass because its semi open world and had co op.
FF13 and ff13-2 are my style of RPGS. Phantasy star universe story mode was fun too. Tales is a hit or miss but I like vesperia a whole lot
