been to a few stores with the same issue of wear on the thumb sticks I think their was an article a few weeks ago on this too, it seems to be an issue with heavy use, which am sure a few months down the road more people will be having issues with the sticks because their the controller sticks are not one sold piece..

the Xbox One has sold in more than one million consoles in less than 24 hours, setting a new record for Microsoft and matching Sony’s launch numbers for the PlayStation 4.

Second week US sales are also in. The PlayStation 4 was severely supply constrained, which accounts for its big drop off. There was just 86,654 PS4's sold in its second week. That brings the total sales to 1,070,866 in the first two weeks. There were 306,507 Xbox One's sold in its second week. That brings the total sales to 1,039,076.

At this point I know whatever is manufactured is sold until the demand for the consoles goes down. I like Xbox System but am sure PS4 will do better as time goeson, but who know lets wait it out a year...;) I also have a feeling talking to retailers that week three Microsoft has beat PS4 in the us still getting strong supply of X1 but that will change sounds like Sony is making strides now they have released in other territries

because they just didn't focus in just north america so the supply was spread over 13 territories. that is the other reason Microsoft has past Sony in North America because Sony is now focused on 33 territories and we have a supply constraints compared to microsoft

It been pretty clear that Microsoft has been providing more consoles to North America then Sony. Sony has been sending more consoles into other regions for their released while Microsoft seems to be more focused on small amount of regions. Talking to store they have been getting a larger and more steady supply of X1 Consoles good example of that was black Friday which stores had 4 to 1 over Sony system...

the both sold 2 million in sales so they are both doing about the same. All that matter at this pont is how many they manufacture until the demand is filled.... I heard Microsoft has been selling more in North America because they have focused in other regions. most of the store I stop in at said that Microsoft has been sending 4 to 1 at this point of time...
