I think the problem here is that people think that GT5 is going to release in 2011. Sony has delayed the game so many times that people probably got sick of keeping track of GT and completely forgot about it. How else would you explain such terrible sales here in NA?

1.4 million is a lot. Lets not forget THIS IS ONLY IN NA which means MS has sold more in other parts of the world adding to that total.
This aren't even December numbers yet but i see the potential of the kinect. A whole new Audience= a $hit load of sales. If this is the case i see the 360 easily pulling away again from the ps3. Way to kill sony's slim.

*rubs eyes* GT5 got beat out by almost every game out there. 5 days was plenty to put it over the top. A hyped game usually sells the most in the firt week ( Halo, Gears, MGS4, CoD,) I am shocked.

the truth about this is that the ps3 has done it's worst. It's done all it could do, it's trhown its heart out and given all it's got to give this gen with the slim and all the exclusives it could give and the thruth is this. 1) Nintendo 2) MS Last) Sony.

i can't believe how hard sony is struggling to beat the xbox this gen. It isn't even 1st place they are struggling with but only 2nd. Someone really screwed up at sony headquarters this gen.

just like how it was supposed to outsell the xbox in March due to GoW3 and FF. Same story every month and same results. This month's popular excuse is shortages just like last month. Not even GoW could push the ps3 past the 360 in sales this month. Not good. Sadly not much is left for ps3 this year but GT5. OUCH.
with ps3 having the more powerful hardware when it's properly optimized but as good as the ps3 may look there is no f*cking way im getting a game like crysis on a console when i got a rig that will just smoke both. I loved the first one and will only get the superior version for windows7.
I cant wait for this game. Forza is truly the king of racing sims. I like GT also and have a good feeling it will give the next mario kart wii a run worth its money. Im betting Mario Kart wii edges it out though.
