PS3 games always get the highest level of scrutiny. Starcraft 2 and Alan Wake took forever and it was barely mentioned and easily dismissed. GT5 since it is a PS3 exclusive it is required by gaming law to have at least 150 articles and 500 fanboy rants about every minor glitch and how long it took to make. That is common knowledge.

Overrated is usually when everyone refuses to see the obvious flaws in a game just because you want it to be great and reviewers don't want to say anything bad to lose hits on their site or credibility. No self conscious teen is going to be playing Kinect or these games. Microsoft can insist that they will all they want. No preteen or teenager is going to want anyone to see them play a game like this.
I know everyone will swamp me with disagrees for this but a Halo movie is as bad as an idea as a Gears of War movie. These shooter stories are fine for game play to get from one mission to the next but they are so shallow they would never have enough material to make an A+ movie no matter who directs it.
