I feel sorry for this game. It is oviously a work of genius with an actual mature setting that isn't populated by mindless violence, blood and guts, senseless cursing or tacked on nudity. But this is going to go right over gamers heads. This generation is not the right generation to bring this game to. They will never apptriciate its meaning or sutilty and will most likely condemn it and it will get lost in the crowd of 2010 titles. That being said if I have enough money when this comes out I...
Even if that is true, so what? In October Sony's mommentum will pick back up with Uncharted 2 and RC: CIT. And again for Demon Souls and again for GT5 in December. Also let's not forget that many people have been waiting for the price drop just to buy a PS3 including PS2 owners which number in the millions. They won't be buying Xbox 360s or the new Halo. Also don't forget to minus the people who choose the PS3 because they thought it was the better deal and the people who have an Xbox 360 but...
He is probably exaggerating but I wouldn't be surprised if they are condemning it right now. I mean in all the time I have been on forums I hardly here a Xbox 360 owner say "You know that game on the PS3 looks pretty sweet" or "that's a good plan and / or strategy". I myself can't speak for the rest of the PS3 owners out their but when Xbox 360 makes a good game i look at it and say you know that looks good and even find a person that has the game and try it out. Most of ...
Me likey. I always thought of Ratchet as a bas @$$. I mean the guy has enough weapons to blow up a planet. I mean if he was evil he could probably vapourize the galaxy
I think the hype for these games is what makes them overated. It's not to say these games are bad per se but if you look at them really carefully, they are really not that wonderful as people try to make them seem. Like for instance peope tell me that Halo is the greatest story ever told in gaming history. A scifi epic. I mean really is that what you people think? If I was an english teacher I would give that story an F and send you to detention. Then people vote Marcus Phenix as the best cha...
Like they say ´monkey see monkey do`
You know what made me want to crush my PS2. The moment in God of War when I had to fight clones of myself and save my family at the same time on harder levels. I almost went on a rampage. But certain areas in Ninja Gaiden and Resistance 1 also drove me to the brink. Like the fight between Ryu and the demon lady where enemies kept on jumping out of the ground and the train station or the battle between the stalkers and the spider creature in Resistance
This can work in Sony's favour. They have experience with casual games and can learn from Nintendo and not suffer the same pitfalls as Nintendo's controller. They have better and stronger tech then Nintendo and if done right they can make some steller games . Just make sure and avoid shovelware and tedious games like Carnival Games and idiotic things like that. Also avoid forcing motion controls into games that could play better without them (Like Nintendo always does). Sony can do this righ...
This could be perfect. If Sony is going to beat Natal and the Wii-mote they need some time. If they release it in the Spring if done right it could give them more then enough time to out class the Wii-mote and establishing themselves by working out all the kinks and bugs out of the wand and get as many games as possible to work with it.So by the time Natal comes out they will have serious competition. Don't waste this oppertunity Sony.
Why are people so guilible. Of course Rare would say that. Unlike Naughty Dog, Insomniac and Sucker Punch, they actually belong to Microsoft. When they say that Sony is a great system they have no obligations to Sony so you can more likely trust them. But what do you expect Rare to say? "No Natal is actually a piece of crap and making shooters for it is the most stupid idea I have ever heard". You don't bite the hand that feeds you especially if that hand owns your butt. Rare would ...
What I never get is this forgive the game companies crap. It's the same nonsense that Nintendo pulls all the time. What is with "they tried their best so buy the game or system before you hurt their feelings". Why should I forgive the nonsense that they do? Since when are Microsoft and Nintendo your friend. Sony is not my friend. They have provided excellent, satisfying games, with sturdy systems that last a long time. But they are not my freinds. They are a company like everyone el...
This game plus the slim for this Christmas‚ BOOM! head shot from Sony. Microsoft and Nintendo grey matter everywhere
And lo Sony did rise up from the ashes and called out "Microsoft! Nintendo! I have returned for my throne. Hast thou already forgotten the thrashing I gave to you not long ago. There can only be one victor. Sony raises his powerful blade rushes forward and clashes directly with Microsoft. As these Titans clash, Nintendo hides behind its cheap, flismy sheild of excuses and hopes not to be stepped on. Will Sony rise up and crush its opponents? Or will Microsoft use its endles supply of che...
It's the usual stubborness I always see with Xboix 360 owners. They would buy Prototype no matter how high or low it scored. Rather then admit that Infamous is great, they would rather hang on to Prototype just to prove to PS3 owners that our system is crap. Everytime we get an exclusive they hang on to what ever multiplayer game is similar to it and try to put down the PS3 game at all cost. Xbox 360 owners will rather die then admit that Sony has the goods.
First I agree. R1s health system was the best. regenerating but not completely forgiving. Second no health bar is idiotic. I am supposed tro sit there and guess how hurt I am? At least Iwith a health bar I know I am on my last chunck of health and need to be careful. But if the screen turns red and starts blinking what does that mean? How badly injured am I? Is the next shot going to kill me? Can I go kamakazee on the last enemy and not worry about him killing me? Or hide and find some health...
What was always good for a laugh was the stories about the systems that they had on display or were going to use for special events like E3 red ringing. Just imagine their all powerful system can't even hold long enough in public. And even funnier is Microsoft jumping to defend their imcompitance so quicky. I qoute "Me thinks Microsoft doth protest to much"
`Don't let the Xbots get you all riled up. Remember these are the same people that defended the first Xbox even though it was being stomped by the PS2 and almost everyone including most developers could see it was a piece of crap. It even died like a piece of crap. The 360 didn't even need backwards compatability because there was almost nothing to play from the original Xbox. So now even after that piece of crap is gone, now they come up with a new piece of crap that not only destroyed discs...
You know what I don't get? Why is it that Sony is always the one that gets these kind of articles? Microsoft has moved most of it's line up to 2010 with Halo OBST as one of the few exclusives left. Why doesn't any one say anything about Microsoft? Nintendo has practically nothing for the fall but no one metions that either. Insomniac and Naughty Dohg were one of the few developers that had the balls to remain during the fall season unlike the other cowards who were to scared. I just don't get...
What I don't get is idiots saying that the PS3 has no games ansd saying that Microsoft has a better variety of games. What variety? I alll the years that the Xbox has existed the only mascot they have up to now is Master Chief is is a flimsy character at best. Pathetic Microsoft's line up constits mostly of generic shooters and racing games. And any other games usually are on the PS3 too or end up on the PS3 eventually. So the next idiot that says there are no games on the PS3 or that their P...
I am glad you are so optimistic Thatartguy. But I lost faith in gamers a long time ago since they let Okami die and so few people brought LBP. Let's face it. People prefer generic and played out franchises to innovative well thought out ones. Don't get me wrong. There are exceptions but not enough to assure Heavy Rain big sales.
