I think Xbox can have better results doing a SEGA. Competition against Sony and Nintendo have proven unsuccessful.
Totally unlikely. Nintendo is not on a loosing position like Microsoft is.
Some people doesn't understand the difference so I will give more light...
BC is a good feature at the start of a new console. It helps the user play his old catalog from the previous console while the new console builds its new catalog.
Releasing BC after 4 years of the release of a console and relying on it rather than making quality epic exclusive games, that's what is wrong and that's exactly what Microsoft did.
But this is common sense. Why do you expect him understand that?

Playstation community is mostly called Playstation Nation. A name like "State of the Nation" would have also been good but I'm ok with State of Play.
Or Chrome exclusive.
Remember when Phil said in the key note that software updates screen are GONE, referring to consoles?
He didn't tell you that they are replacing it with the "now buffering" screen.
If MS power of the cloud is as powerful as the power of the cloud in Crackdown 3, then they are in trouble.
Gameinformer tested Doom on Stadia on a controlled environment and they said...
"More to the point, I was missing shots, and it was initially difficult to time melee hits against enemies. It's not that the input lag makes Doom unplayable, but it makes it harder, and it makes you worse at the game. It's the kind of thing that would make you reboot your console and check your TV settings."
The same will happen with xCloud.
Microsoft though they could compete against Android and iPhone with Windows Phone.
The only one in danger here is Microsoft. MS couldn't compete against Sony and Nintendo. You know they are loosing. Now Microsoft is trying another strategy with streaming only to find out Google is going to compete directly with them. Streaming is not the future of gaming so if this is Microsoft only change, they are going to keep being last in the market.

Is this a threat to consoles? I would say... Toda...
If this is happening with Google, pretty sure will happen with xCloud.
Streaming is a good second optional feature. Until everyone have a powerful stable internet connection, consoles will continue to be the preferred choice.
Streaming taking over consoles is till pretty far away.
@ Tototot
You are totototally lost.
Our love for this game DEMANDS Bloodborne 2.
Let's pray the sun ☀ for this.
You don't "though", you just missed the part where Quantic Dream is not a first party studio and it was bought by another company with all of their IPs.
And yet another invented term for exclusive games. Pretty amazing.
But why should I accommodate and accept that latency problem when I don't have that problem right now with my console?
Is like saying.... A have a Ferrari but I wouldn't mind using my crashed Toyota without air conditioning to drive to some places. If I have a better option I will use that better option.
