IMHO, The time when everyone will abandon the X-Box ship is when their new console comes out and it wont be backwards compatible, like the 360 was to the original X-Box. I know your thinking the PS3 isn't BC, but when it first came out it was and it is now semi BC, it plays PS1 games (but who plays those now). They removed BC to cut costs and then, when there was a larger catalog of games to play.
How can you say that the kinect is revolutionary? How come most people forget about the Eye-Toy for the PS2. I had it, and from what i have seen from all the videos of Kinect its basically the same thing. All Kinect is an upgraded Eye-Toy, just like Move is an upgraded Wii.

i keep wondering why people think Kinect is completely new. Does anyone remember the eyetoy for the PS2, its almost the same thing. I got the eyetoy used it a couple of times then it was collecting dust on the shelf. I think Kinect will sell at first because the brainwashed MS X-bots will think that its something that it's not, then realize that its nothing special.

in reality if you buy the DLC you are paying more than $60 for the game
i would be willing to pay the higher price if it included all the future DLC.
i still see it as a giant free for all, just like Resistance 2.
Does it really matter? At the end of the year we will ALL be playing Modern Warfare 2. Not to many people will will stray from that game unless its a RPG like Fable or Mass Effect. But that wont happen because MS owns them.
started downloading 173MB an 10pm its now 11:55 and only at 61%. I have my console hard wired through the router.
I had a problem with my PS3 controller. The PS3 wouldn't recognize the blue-tooth, so I just connected it with the charging cord and then it worked fine. So i can see if there were problems with the PS2 controllers.
the date on the screen was 3/17 at 4:27pm. Its been functional for 2 weeks. How long are they going to sit on the release?

I dont want to seem like a fanboy, If MS would have taken their time to release the 360 instead of rushing it out, they probably wouldn't have had to spend tons of money fixing faulty consoles. I will be happy to wait another couple of months for a game to come out as long as they get it right.
