really dont know what the big deal is, people are assuming gow is cross gen as though they're hoping it is, definitely isn't....ratchet and clank,demon souls, GT7, returnal battle all stars for the lauch window and we definitely know alot more coming just like spiderman 2.

actually horizon forbidden west was in development for ps4 originally, with then deciding to move on to ps5 development some time ago I remember an article being released about it and MM being released for ps4 doesn't affect anything, it's a lost legacy type of deal. Remember, spiderman 2 will be full on ps5, so will GOW and the rest of those amazing exclusives on ps5

comparing lou2 which is current gen with a next gen game just shows what a great job naughty dog did with it.
also because games from sonys 1 party studios are passion projects so they put all their effort into making sure sony made the right call giving them that freedom

considering yakuza has been selling well on ps2 well since most people in the west ever knew what it was and it having the way bigger ps following that's going to be very tough, sega will loose big time. x box fans aren't really into it. theres no point in wanting a franchise just for the sake of using it as console war ammo when they could make more as multipleplat.

a cross gen halo being one of the few games available, why wouldn't it sell, spiderman will sell plenty plus you dont even know all the games sony has for launch. seems you're amongst the few who think the velocity architecture is best and as I recall 3rd party Devs are supplying their games so dont know how sony is leaving 100mil plus out dry is coming from, after they just dropped two goty contenders back to back cant say the same for the competition.
they actually said so months ago that will also support ps4 for the foreseeable future....doesn't mean they'll make all their exclusive next gen RandC,demon souls,ff16, returnal proves that also gow, unlike MS they want to sell hardware and not compete with gamepass.
