Quite possibly, though there's a lot of shared ground I think the 360 does have a more pc-esque line up than the PS3. There are no real time strategy games out for the PS3 for example, which is a bit weird.

Strange, maybe it depends on your gaming background. Most of my friends and indeed myself came from a PC gaming background mostly and moved to the 360 mostly due to the ease of setting up team games etc., something that was a hassle on the PC (IP addresses of servers on counterstrike etc). Within another circle of friends at work they're all buying 360s ahead of GTA4 on the basis that everybody knows someone with the console, I think the established userbase is a big reason for them to go 360...

Completely anecdotally but I am 25 and I know about 20 people with a 360 versus 2 with a PS3, and they own both consoles. I'm pretty sure the 360 is dominating the PS3 in the uk considerably. Every store I visit devotes at least a third more space to the 360 than the PS3.

Danja, I hate to inject some reality here, but in the UK, by far the biggest market for games in Europe, the 360 is a much bigger seller than the PS3, which remains a distant 3rd.

A few things to say here. The listings of games in a magazine really isn't definitive information of any kind really, what soley matters is what the publishers say. Much of the information on future releases is surmised or this could simply be oversight. The actual journalists don't do the listings sections of games mags.

Secondly I suppose it's possible that a cost-benefit analysis of localising japanese versions of these games might come out against the idea but it's pretty u...

I'm not sure where this notion that the 360 isn't doing well in the UK is coming from, it's massively popular here.

Check www.play.com, one of the uk's most popular online media retailers. Two 360 titles in the top selling game products, zero PS3.

I've not gone much beyond the tutorial but when I switched to proper flight controls it helped a lot. INverted axis I mean.

Well right now i'm playing C&C3 (RTS) and Guitar Hero 2 (Music Game), while also trialing Viva Piniata (Sim Game) and Project Slypheed (Space shooter). Oh and I've just bought Worms (arcade). To honestly believe the PS3 can remotely match this breadth of games now, or in the near future is to be deluded.

Have you played the most popular PC games? They require dedicated servers which are most certainly not free. Counterstrike for example consists of 90% private servers, which cost real money to rent and operate.

Dell had to move to provide the option for XP, moving totally to Vista was an odd business decision in the first place.

I'm a long time pc user and Vista is streets ahead of XP.

I have Vista ultimate and I'm actually quite impressed with it. Far superior networking code to XP for example.

I'm afraid that's a bogus story, Makro are a whole salers and therefore don't advertise with VAT included. You'd have to add 17.5% to that price.

I signed up just to correct this, what a hero.
