Class based multiplayer games(including the Team Fortress series) have been around since the 90's, so I'm not sure what they have "pioneered" in that department.
I honestly could not tell they focused on multiplayer...
What? Another $15 map pack? I don't believe it...
Because their games have been getting progressively worse. Because Reach was a flop and the biggest disappointment last year. Because most of the Halo team have left Bungie. I think that's all...
I really like what Torchlight does; It gives you the option to turn on "hardcore" mode were death is permanent instead of being forced upon the user. I vaguely remember a separate difficulty setting in Diablo that was similar. It also "saves" your dead characters so you can see how far you got before your untimely death. I like creating new characters and trying to beat my previous best level. It adds to the replayability.
How the hell do you blame consoles "dumbing-down" ME2 and DA2 when ME1 and DA1 where both on consoles?
EDIT: The 3 game sequels that are "dumbed-down" share one thing in common, they are all published my EA.
I have to be honest, I think a strategy game would work great with Kinect even though I do not own one or plan on getting one.
Maybe they can send a few to Treyarch when they're done...
But this game was confirmed for 2011 last year...and again when the XBLA version was released.
So, again, how is this news?
EDIT: Now if they confirmed the XBLA version was releasing this year then that would be news. Hopefully the first one sold well enough for them to bring it to consoles.
BTW, it was supposed to be released this spring but the XBLA version apparently delayed it to this summer. And that's from the developers mouth(well,...
How is this news?
I can't believe 9 humans made this. In fact I refuse to believe it. But you know what would change my mind? A copy of this game. NOW!
Have you played System Shock 2?
Woah...
You said "it doesn't even come close to looking life-like" but you also called it a "tech demo."
Needs more HDR lighting...
Yes, lets keep building on old tech..
EDIT:@Kamikaze135: There IS something wrong with that when there is better tech. The 360 is holding everyone else back. Both with their DVD format and Xbox Live. Look at Portal 2 and Angry Birds. It's the truth. It sucks because I love the 360 but it's time to move on...
Am I the only one tired of hearing Nolan North everywhere? He should just stick with the UC series.
Like Halo Wars, 343 did not create or were involved with any Halo novel. And they did not collaborate with Ready At Dawn on the new map pack. Ready At Dawn make the God of War games for the PSP. Certain Affinity is the company involved with the map pack.
Also, they only thing they have created(so far) is Waypoint and they helped with the Halo anime series.
He isn't the only hero that fought during a war. It's impossible to make a game about them all. So, every "real" war game is dedicated to all service men everywhere, thanking them for their service.
"Oh boy, yet another crowd-pleaser with no substantial improvements or additions."
One added gigabyte of space sounds like an "addition" to me...
