I've learned thru out the years when people want to be right about something they wont accept anything the other person has to say. The fact that your statement started an argument tells me these people want to be right. Seriously arguing over what? Semantics? You really shouldn't have to explain the phrase, anyone with critical thinking skills understands what you meant. Dont feed stupid people what they want.
Damn dude Idk what you've been eating but must be salty AF. I started off with agreeing with the criticism in the game but I am also entitled to my opinion. Just wanted to gush on how much I appreciate this game! I personally think with most Rockstar games the shooting mechanics leave a lot to be desired but that's not the reason I play them. Sure it's a flawed game but it doesn't mean I can't enjoy the crap out of it. My first few hours of the game didn't leave the be...
I get the criticism that RDR2 is getting but for me that game is nothing short of a masterpiece. Its the most immersive experience I've ever played. They didn't simply want you to control Arthur they wanted you to live the world thru his eyes. I think it's a very important game for the future of open world games just as much as BOTW was. My main criticisms with modern day gaming is everything is so fast pace you don't get to enjoy the little things. Shoot this, kill that, foll...
I think some of their problems, when it comes to game design, is that they listen to people a little too much. Just look at what happened with AC. People started complaining about Desmond and the modern day storyline and look what good that did. Easily the worst part of the newer games.
Pokemon: call of creed! Yes! Thank you Nintendo!
Yea same here. I wouldnt be suprised if they had them as dlc.
No but I have my own way of determining what I'll buy day one. I'll look at all reviews good and bad but ultimately I tend to favor right in the middle. I'll make my own opinion based on gameplay (that's why we play right?) And I'll see things I don't like. If the ones in the middle confirm the concerns I had I won't but day one. That's how I didn't get suckered into buying games like the Order and NMS. To me NMS looked like a mining/flying sim. I'll ...
Though I do agree with you on way points, don't even go there. Ps2/xbox/GameCube era brought beautiful universes but since the last gen the newer consoles put you in those universes. The witcher 3, Tlou, GTA V say otherwise.
Yea you're right about that but games as old as this one its usually to test the waters to see if it's still relevant. If this game sells well I'm sure we'll be seeing a brand new crash.
I guess I was hoping for a next gen ico but I get the impression this game is just Ico with a big uncontrollable pet. For me personally this gen of games has been underwhelming. Each generation came with a huge leap in tech and game mechanics that's why I continued to purchase consoles. It's the same issue I take with every generation of Pokemon. There just isn't enough for me from the previous gen to make it feel like a new experience even though I still get suckered into buying ...
I hope this is the start of a new trend. I'm tired of these half ass next gen ports (I'm looking at you ezio collection). With this game and FF VII hopefully we'll see more companies take this route with their remakes/remasters or whatever the fuck you want to call them.
Damn pretty much everything I was worried about was said in this review. I know having an opinion is a no no on this site but every gameplay vid I saw screamed an over hyped/outdated game. Although I absolutely adore Ico/SOTC I'm going to have to skip this till it hits the bargain bin. I just hope everyone that buys this day one will enjoy it.
I would've never thought about that. You sir are a gentlemen and a scholar.
Im not big on remasters but I'd be happy to see the original remastered. Barely got to play it before my ps3 broke :(
I had no idea how badly I need this till I saw the trailer. Super stoked for this. For a second i thought it might be a new tomb raider.
Why don't you create your own game universe and stop criticizing artists for the work they want to create? It's lame ass people like you that scare publishers/developers into compromising their artistic vision in the hopes of selling more units.
"The emphasis on cables also feels visually similar to Kaneda and his motorcycle."
"However, the trailers’ resemblance to the anime is minimal at best, suggesting that the game is either in the same universe following different storylines in the United States, or is simply a different game that borrows from Akira’s setting and themes."
Did you even read the article before deciding to bitch and complain?
Serious question here, what was it hello games lied about? Most of what I've seen prior to release was only flying and mining around and that's why I chose not to buy it yet. I didn't read every article about it but what I did was pretty much how I thought it was gonna play. I think nowadays gamers paint their own picture of what a game should be and when it isn't what they thought they get disappointed. Same with order 1886 everything I read said cinematic experience written ...
As a huge tomb raider fan and an owner of a ps4 I'm ok that I had to wait a year. Free season pass (and them some) and an art book. Count me in!
Metroid Prime 4? Its definitely a Nintendo IP.
