It's a total grift.
Early on, I think they genuinely wanted to make a game. But now, it's clearly grift.
I know you bought in already, simdaily Abrael, but unless this game releases in the 2020s, it's going to be regarded as a scam.
People who initially bought in when they were in their 20's, are now nearing 40 years old and there is no release date for a finished game.
Over the last year, I bought many games. All of them indie and I spent in the $39.99- $59.99 range brand spanking new.
AAA publishers are greedy.
Arc Raiders was $40.
This one gives me hope.
It feels like I've been waiting for Witchbrook since before the pandemic.
Mine claims my 3rd most played game was Blops 7.
I don't own Blops 7.
You believed him!?!!
I've got some Trump $5000 bills for you, only half off.
All this company does is lie.
I think their CEO might be a compulsive liar. The last interview I read of him he claimed they popularized/ created "Dark Fantasy" ignoring all super popular "Dark Fantasy" games already out.
That's criminal.
The top stories right now are how Arc Raiders (a $40 game) has a high player count and the Horizon Series selling 40 million copies.
That said, maybe making fewer, better games is a better idea than making lots of crappy ones.
Exactly. Does this mean Arc Raiders is next year?
I love that NMS was released after this game was announced and I can make any Scam Citizen ship for free in game.
Yes for free. I bought NMS in 2016 for the PS4. Hello Games insisted on giving all of us the PSVR, PS5, and PSVR2 versions for free. Along with all the free updates.
This scam? Pay, pay, pay.
I never gave much credence to the "paid review" claims because they were usually aimed at decent games that people didn't like for one reason or another.
However: "Overwhelming Dislike Based on 609 User Ratings; 1.6" on metacritic.
I'm not sure I've seen review bombed games go that low.
Is more of a survival rpg shooter in the robot apocalypse.. but the robots came from elsewhere to colonize earth.
Those quadcopters are enemies and there are plenty of other enemies including other players. Though decidedly, the majority are helping each other out, the threat is still there.
And yet you have not reported it.
What I've learned from this generation is that smaller studios are where I'm finding the best games.
The big boys just aren't cutting it.
This is great news for PS owners.
But what's the advantage to new hardware anymore? It's like cell phones. There's noting new or innovative. All the future tech isn't arriving any time soon: quantum computers and internet.
You're responding to the alt troll account.
The game is $40.
MTs are cosmetic.
The game is amazing and requires no additional $$$.
But nice try.
I love that it's still in stock everywhere too. Scalpers got screwed!
They don't want to acknowledge how many refunds... and it's EA.
It's beginning to look a lot like Griftmas.
Imagine buying in to this in your 20s and then, as you near, 40 years of age, there is still no difinitive release date for a finished game.
