@coolbean
That's because there is no gotcha in my comment. It's a genuine question.
Using MindsEye as an example is apropos because it's timely and the latest game to be hated.
It hasn't released and the hate I'm referring to is people straight up lying that no gameplay footage was released.
Hating games before they release isn't new. And no one is saying don't be cautious with a new IP. Bu...
Taco,
Where did I defend the game?
I said people lied about no gameplay being revealed.
That's an idiotic way to go through life.
So you're defending people who lie just to hate a game. Lol to defend those people.
Who do you blame when the hate comes before a game releases? (ie MindsEye)
It's the latest "game to hate" which is such a weird way for people to live their lives: so desperate to make something fail, and when it doesn't, lie about it.
I was reading some of the hate and people claimed there was no gameplay revealed.
Just unreal that they'll lie just to match their worldview.
1 million sales is amazing. This have was going for $50. 3.3 million is about $165 million.
It's amazing for every game that reaches that milestone.
So excited. I had to check which system I had DQIII on. Love that it's physical.
Why not? Do tell.
Base PS5 can do 120 fps with HDMI 2.1.
Who do you think chooses the release date? The in the chair developer or their "I've never played a video game and never coded one" CEOs?
"... to make broad incorrect assumptions" about how games work.
Non story from Forbes.
The game is in testing.
They're is no "revolt" even the game doesn't have a launch date, isn't finished, and isn't in early access.
Like Playstation Home....
At least he's talking about it and it's not just some anonymous internet person. That's why I posted his take. He was on the inside.
He knows better than most what's going on.
We live in a weird world where primary sources don't mean anything, evidence and reason hold no weight, but rumors and speculation hold the day.
*Gets multimillion dollar bonuses.*
"There's nothing I need to understand. I don't have any problem with Hollywood Accounting (which is legal..."
Have a good day, guy.
OMG,
I am quoting Toy Story because Baba doesn't know art: the Princess Bride quote from beerhound.
It isn't inappropriate. It's movie quotes.
@Quantim
"It's called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it."
You're doubling down and we are just trying to get you to understand.
Of course it's legal, their politicians made it so.
Their marketing department budget is already set. It isn't included in the production costs.
@quantum
It's literally called Hollywood Accounting when movie studios do it.
So, you believe that goken and I are wrong, and Return of the Jedi never turned a profit.
It happens all the time.
To me, it depends on who made it and who will profit.
I bought No Man's Sky back in 2016. They gave me all updates, PSVR,PS5, and PSVR2 versions all for free.
That makes it worth every dollar I spent. Same with Balatro, Stardew Valley, Dave the Diver etc.
