It's the right consoles at the right time and at the right price. That's why it's selling.
Buy both and enjoy. I love the PS4, and I love the Xbox one as well. They are both great consoles. Did it make sense to have a Snes and Genesis? Yes beacause they both had great games. Did it make sense to have a Dreamcast and PS1, or a PS2 and Xbox, or Ps3 and 360.. YES!!!!!!

People are spending money on these micro transactions.. that's why they continue to exist. I think micro transactions can been good when handled right. I don't mind spending 50 cents or 1 dollar for some minor content. But I don't like things to make the game easier, because it gives the impression that the game was altered to force me to use the micro transactions. Most of us know a good deal from a bad one. It needs to be 3D this time! I like the 2D and they have stages like that, but I'd like to see some 3D worlds and I need the Sack people to have voices. They need a cast for LBP. I don't know anyone would agree with that, but that's what I'd like to see. Or else, the game will be treated like MOTS (more of the same).

The xbox sales and PS4 sales are pretty much even in my house. 1 Xbox and 1 PS4....
NO... if my Xbox doesn't work then I want a NEW Xbox one to replace my NEW Xbox one. I'll take it back to the store (if possible) just like you suggested.
If the games don't show that the ps4 is more powerful then it doesn't matter. Show me the games.
The truth is... demand is high for both consoles. If you got one, you WANT the other. We definitley need both consoles doing well. I want them all competing for our business. When a company gets complacent and thinks that we are supposed to just "give" them money (because they put something on a store shelf) that's when we get poor products. I prefer PS4, but I definitely want Xbox One to sell just as well as PS4.

Carmack is talking about PS3... I'm still waiting on Rage to load up it's textures.
Who cares....well never know. I feel like MS will prevent the NPDs from reporting the true sales...assuming they were far behind.
People always second guess their decision and go for the other system. It'll happen both ways ps4 for x1 and x1 tradd in for ps4.
This is a streaming service not a backwards compatibility feature. So I have no issues not being able to access games I own. I don't like it, but it's not a deal breaker.
