Loved Halo: CE, hated 2, couldn't stand 3, loved ODST.
This looks great, so here's hoping.
How this amazing game will be 800 points and something rehashed like CoD Classic is 1200 points.
As long as those "I'll buy anything, it doesn't matter if it was supposed to be in the game or not" idiots keep doing their thing, developers will continue this horrible trend.
And because of them, the rest of us smart gamers have to go through this BS with pretty much every game now.

There's always a swarm of idiots ready to buy an incomplete, ripoff of a game, so EA will keep doing this.

Yeah, ok, good point...I shouldn't generalize. And I have also been playing for a while...since Atari 2600, I guess.
But I don't know, this DLC trend just annoys the piss out of me. I'm not saying it can't be done right (look at GTA4), but these measly 1-hour long episodes? Co-op/versus modes? Extra skins? This is the kind of crap that I do not tolerate, and that (for the most part), this newer generation just eats up.

This DLC trend has been worrying me for a while, and the sad thing is, their marketing has gotten so good, that most gamers are not only willing to pay for this content that should have been in the game, but are actually happy to do it.

Totally agreed.
I still love Ninja Gaiden (Black for the Xbox anyway, haven't tried Sigma) and God of War, but DMC4 felt so disappointing after the wonderful DMC3.
Bayonetta annoyed me at first, but then I tried it and goddamn, what a great game it is when you actually put some time in it and learn the combat.
Oh yeah, and Halo really is the most overhyped game of all time.

You know, the main reason why I decided to go with one is the Metroid Prime trilogy....which is now out of print.
Luckily I was able to get a practically new copy for 40 bucks. It's going for well over 100 on Amazon Canada...

I actually own both a 360 and a Ps3 as well.
They both have really nice exclusives and the Ps3 gives me a great bluray player to boot.
My point is, I'm all about the games, not the consoles.
I just wish I had more time to play :-/
