Skeletons in boxy clothing. Top notch.
I'm not very interested in, or very good at racing games...but overall from the demo, this one looks fun and well made.
A 7.5 is by no means a terrible score. Destiny fits perfectly with that number. It's a solid game mechanically, and the foundation is there but it wasn't explored as well as it should and could of been.
I trust that Bungie will be able to expand on it over the years, whether it be from new game entries or expansions..but the possibility of them doing that doesn't change that they could of done more now.
Destiny has a promising future, especially s...
I don't personally have a gaming PC, but I tried to convince my significant other to wait for this mouse. This review seems to prove that I was right when I told him to wait (which of course, he didn't).
Some remastered games are totally worth it. The Halo Master Chief Collection? I'll be all over that. I hadn't played Tomb Raider, so it was worth it for me...but having said that, I'm not sure a $60 price point is the best for those who already played the game, own the DLC, but are interested in the graphics upgrade and small additions. Metro Redux got it right, $50 for both games with massive improvements to each. Saints Row IV, $40 for a current gen version with all previously r...
Normally Sony is pretty good about it, especially if it's a first party title. But anything third party could eventually end up released on other platforms, even years later. There's just no way of knowing.
Exactly. That's pretty much what I covered in the editorial. Companies use the word without explaining it, and then some amount of the community looses their minds over it.
The Vita is such an awesome but underutilized handheld. Of course not every game on the list will appeal to every person who owns one.
It's nice to see the Vita and its games getting the attention it deserves!
Great list, but I'd add any company from the Bioshock series.
The order is pretty subjective and while I was writing I moved them around quite a bit, not so much Leon for me...but Nathan Drake for sure. Honestly I probably should of foregone an actual order, or made them all #1.
Clara didn't do anything for me, lol. But my boyfriend told me once that he'd probably leave me if she were real..I just don't get it, I'm not into Jack from Mass Effect either and physically they're in the same scale.
It was so tough to pick just 5 of each!
Goldeneye was one of the first games I ever played. I wasn't very good at it, but hey...I tried. It's hard to narrow down games, and movies in this case, for lists like this. Maybe the author just isn't a James Bond fan regardless of his age.
As long as the price seems fitting, there isn't anything wrong with early access...people take the same calculated risk when paying full price for a "complete game" (I put it quotations because it's easy to argue that some $60 titles aren't finished, and also a complete game can mean different things to different people.)
Of course developers are resting on what they have done so far, and unfortunately a lot of people expect too much. I think with early ...
I'm not into these sorts of games, but I see the humor in it. xD
Sure console wars will continue to rage on until the end of time, but I wish they didn't deteriorate into personal attacks because someone's platform choice didn't match yours.
I usually favor modern titles, but retro games will always have their place!
Yeah. I think it would of have been amazing if it weren't for the hype. It's a solid game mechanically overall, and I do find amusement in making the AI crash into one another at traffic lights...but open world with tons of driving sequences has never been my thing.
Maybe I would of liked it better if I was indifferent to the hype. Hopefully the reviews are right, and as the story progresses hours in I'll feel differently.
I was pretty disappointed with it. Maybe it was the hype, but for a game that was delayed last second...I was expecting better. It feels like Grand Theft Auto 5 with a one button hacking ability, and I really didn't like GTA. I doubt I'll revisit the game anytime soon or for any substantial time. It's by no means terrible, but at best is mediocre with hit or miss character models and relatively boring story and main character.
It's a cool concept, but it's not something I'm interested in. The price is appropriate for what you'll be getting- a big wristband for your phone.
