Its creating a mentality and an expectation for the need to buy quickly. The margins that Nintendo would make off the NES Classic are finite at best, so if they could use that as a tool to leverage market expectation and assure that the Switch will be a surefire win, why wouldn't they. A Switch customer will be far more valuable than a NES Classic customer in the long term.

For me, the combat in The Witcher wasn't necessarily about just swinging the sword. I loved the tactical side of using the right bombs, applying the right oil, and casting the right magic. It's totally different from Bloodborne and, gun to my head, I would still prefer Bloodborne, but The Witcher offered up something differe...
