I haven't played a demo yet, so I could be wrong. But I don't think so.
Improved is as in very little, so it's just not worth buying.
Maybe the next title in the series if there is one, and one that's designed to fully utilize next gen. hardware.
People don't ever buy a cheat guide/walkthrough guide unless you've already beaten the game once or have been playing for a long time and are stuck, but to buy it from day one is rediculous. I tske pride in doing it all on my own, no cheats.
problem is sony. I really hope your console makes it, then you can be proud of being a ps3 fan, but it doesn't look very good.
I think sony will come close to going bankrupt with an almost failed attempt on the ps3. So very much bad/horrid publicity for a system that isn't even being built yet, not even in production yet and it's already looking grim.

The XBOX didn't have any sort of a shaddy line up, in fact it was quite the oposite, but they did as a previous responder said, had a very westernized line up. Perfect for the westernized countries, but not for Japan.
Where the ps2 did it well was that they did start out doing a numbers game, doing many many titles, some were good, few were really good and many were crap "BUT" the titles we call crap were often very popular in the asian nations, aka Japan.

Definately not very many. I don't know of anyone who had a ps2 that did. There was one friend of mine that had a ps2 who bought an RPG but couldn't get it to work so he sold the game. I think it was everquest.
Everyone saw this coming. But, I'm sure it will be ready by the march Europe release. They've been trying it seems to rush the online network but that's not really something that you can rush. It'll be all the better for ps3 fans when it's truly ready. XBOX live is a great online feature and with their previous experience they still had some minor issues to iron out/patch.

The ps3 has potential to be a pretty good machine but unless the bottlenecking is fixed, well it's not good right now, is it?
So in responce to your words of wisdom, "no" it can't do better, not at this time and quite possibly ever. The XBOX 360's triple cores and abundance of fast & powerful memory and over 1 gig of internal, it's set up to perform where it counts better than anything else out there as of now.

well we havent seen it in action really yet, it may or may not be good, but the ps3 we have seen and it's been less than underwhelming hasn't it. The ps3 had/has a very bad internal flaw if you will, the machine seems to bottleneck and freeze up on frames on most every game it's demo'd, so unless this flaw among a few others as well are repaired, the ps3 will never have a good reputation among any gamers in any country and wont be a "huge" success that many think it will.
The XBOX 360 will release "Blue Dragon and Lost oddesey", both have already sent Japanese gamers into a frenzy, now I'm not saying they'll all bite right away but they will soon after. They'll drooling over the games. I remember a time in the game I was fighting a sort of guardian samarai warrior on horse back and his magical minnions kept disappearing and re appearing where ever I would move, It was tough as hell to beat but I finally did it. I was proud, lol.
The underwater missions were also very hard but fun also. He has some great moves and the cities were huge for a last gen, title.
