1) Faster Boot Times
2) Faster Launching of Applications
3) Shock Resistant
4) Shot in the dark of SSD Failure...far more reliable than HDD.
5) Better Battery Life
6) Less Heat Expended
7) Less Noise
8) Doesnt slow down like hard drives do when filled near maximum capacity
....the only downer for SSD right now besides the price really is that its slower than Hard Disks at Writing Data....but definitely faster as I said at Reading Data, La...
Apple can play games..its called BOOTCAMP
I own an iPhone...of course the touch screen showoff nonsense wears off...how many times can you show people what it does before they understand or see it for themselves??? Its still the best phone Ive ever owned...I dont think about the touch screen as much anymore because Im used to it...but the same goes for the Wiimote...
iPhone still has the best screen, the best user interface, the best web browser, great widgets, wifi, a solid camera and sleek design. period. hate on ...
those 08:The Show shots loook WAYYYYYYY better than the 2k8 shots
Problem with your argument is....it CAN do all the normal crap every laptop can....the only difference is things such as loading movies onto the hard drive etc have to be done before you walk out the door with it. Which for most people I dont think should be a problem. Besides...what would you rather carry..a flash drive or dvd discs in a roladex or their respective movie boxes? flash drive is smaller than both.
MacBook Air is growing on me..I Currently own a MacBook Pro but I think people are really quick to bash this laptop.
First and foremost...me personally I never use more than one USB device at a time on my laptop (Usually just dock my iphone on it and thats pretty much it) so that point is moot. Wireless Migration makes it super easy to transfer over all your music, programs etc when you first boot it up from your old Mac.....
The optical drive CAN be a hindrance.......
Funny because when I run my 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro in BootCamp with Windows XP...it runs Unreal Tournament 3 better than most peoples DESKTOPS.
I hated the new look at first...but this is growing on me...I have a feeling this is gonna be like when the "Wii" name was announced for nintendos new console how bad everyone thought it was....everyone just accepts it now.
the animations look like theyre gonna be great...the environments look good...the effects look good....the sounds are perfect imo....the only thing is some of those facial features but that will easily be overlooked if youre a true SF fan.
yeah i cant log on either
I wish theyd make the grass look a little more like grass though....still looks like a carpet.
For people wondering about 360 Elites.....I bought an Elite about November 11th to replace my old Premium, and it was manufactured on 10/6/07 and it has the 175W etc.....so I think you're good to go now.
Im still trying to figure out why the Wii is selling so good.....no wait im not. I bought one last christmas after playing Wii Sports....boy am I regretting it now. Im sure alot of people share my feelings....doesnt matter now though since they already bought one as well and thats what counts in console sales.
ive always wondered why the show doesnt and apparently still wont have Home Run Derby mode
Sample and Pixel are cool. Pixel white background is tough on the eyes though
and they just answered that......GameSpot 9.5
Lets see if GameSpot gives it a crappy rating for:
1) Having alot of variety
2) Being Easy to beat
3) Having some camera hiccups
4) Having worse graphics than Ratchet & Clank
or lets see if GameSpot just gives it a 9.5 because its not a PS3 game ;)
If you're casual.
Remind me of the other "great" games lost to the Wii?
before these games come out?
- Metal Gear Solid 4
- Tekken 6
- Gran Turismo 5
- Killzone 2
- Final Fantasy XIII
- Final Fantasy Versus XIII
Alot of gamers are WAITING for these games to even buy a PS3. These games are system sellers (Killzone isnt yet but could be if its as good as its being hyped) and will push millions of consoles...ESPECIALLY in EU and JPN
When Apple pops one of these 128GB or 160GB SSD's in the MacBook Air...I'll definitely buy one.
