@mikeslemonade Sonys numbers are shipped not sold also. There's absolutely no way of tracking sold through unless every single console needs to be initally connected to the internet.

More sales does not always equal more exclusives or content. The xbox still holds a fairly attractive percentage of the next gen sales and developers would be silly to ignore MORE sales by releasing on both consoles
It's nothing to do with countries or any other reason it is simply the Xbox brand returning to its normal popularity without being over inflated by RROD numbers.
I'm considering a WIIU but will wait for the new Zelda game first.
The initial reveal of xbox one killed it for me and many others. I was predominantly an xbox 360 gamer last gen but swayed back to ps3 also but xbox one didn't start with big fanfare. Price didn't kill it the policies announced did

Ps4 certainly has the 'better' future lineup. I am excited for the order 1886 but will wait for reviews. Best game I played on my ps4 was driveclub. Knack is the ONLY new IP they've delivered so far. They are in the future, I actually hope none of them get delayed further this place would melt down. I especially want to check out the order, until I see concrete reviews and have a chance to play i won't purchase another ps4

Igivehugs. Ps3 was sold at a huge loss for two or three years but I'll bet you just saw that as sony being competitive. Others are right the only people who need to care about Microsoft's financials are Microsoft and it's shareholders.

I just purchased tmcc the other day too. I'd played halo CE and halo 2 but never played 3 and definitely hadnt touched 4. I was actually very impressed with the visuals of halo 4. And it played pretty damn well for a fps franchise taken over by a off shoot company.
At worst we get 1 or 2 extra fps at best we get 99% of games at 1080p 30fps. Just like ps4 (which will also improve)
I only got my xbox one a couple months ago and already love what they've done so far
But Sony fanboys last gen where happy that Sony was taking a loss on the ps3, it was a way to be competitive. Now Microsoft is doing it it is doom and gloom.And if you think 12 months later the profit margin is only $29 you're dreaming. Production costs drop considerably in a products first year

If and I say again IF the xbox outsold the ps4 in the US by 400k units then it is highly likely that it equalled the ps4 for the month globally. This is how last gen worked too. US and UK propped up the lower sales in the other regions. I don't think Microsoft care where they sell the units as long as they move.
But kiddies please remember that the only worldwide sales numbers are from Vgchartz which it seems is a perfectly reputable source for Sony fanboys now. To be honest I don't care who sells more.
