Bloodborne is a action RPG. sure it may not be open world but it's far from being like devil may cry or god of war.
From what i experienced it was a concept that had potential. It just needed more polish, ive met decent people on there but most of them were somewhat weird. last time i was on there was two years ago after me and my gf broke up. Again ps home had some potential but it was deeply flawed.
Far more interested in bloodborne. everything i have seen so far has me tingling with excitement. the combat is faster but retains the tatical combat as the souls series is known for. the art direction/atmosphere is oozing with style, the enemy designs are just gruesome (in a good way). Overall bloodborne is at the top of my list from what i've seen so far of lords of the fallen looks like the typical medieval dark fantasy trope far too many of those these days.
The reason why it was underwhelming to the author because A.( set his expectations to high. B.( he needs headlines for his site. for me it was better than there e3 presentation, lots of new games and ips. also give it a rest trolls, there was maybe one two or three indie games but at most that's it. the point of an indie game is if it's self published it's independent. wild and rime are published by sony therefore 3rd party published. bloodborne aswell and that has a triple AAA ...

Shadow tower was a ps2 exclusive game released in only japan. it was fps game similar or in the vein of kings field. another game developed by from software and the progenitor for the souls franchise.
