I'd trade in my ps3 in a heartbeat if I had one. Ps4 games don't appeal to me other than Uncharted and that's not worth getting a $400 console for when it's a 95% chance I'll like xbox one exclusives based on what I've seen so far
And yes I know uncharted hasn't been shown on Ps4 yet
The games shown at E3 made me recognize but when they reversed DRM that's when I truly made my decision to get the One. For the 1st time in console launch history I'll have 3 games instead of 1 and I know I'll love them :)
I've also heard sources say the xbox one interface is better and we have seen some of it looks great can't say the same for Sony. I also hear that the xbox controller is perfection while the D4 may be an improvement it still looks like the wimpy joystick they slapped a touch screen on .
You can't honestly say Ps4 has the better games now. Knack, Driveclub, Killzone going up against Ryse, Dead Rising 3, Forza, and Killer Instinct xbox one's definitely winning t...
Here's some more reasons for the xbox one
More reliable online gaming, better interface, better controllers, direct x 11.2 exclusivity, Ryse, Titanfall, Halo 5, Forza, Dead Rising 3, Quantum Break, Killer Instinct, Gears of War 4, snapping, better looking games (looking at the actual games and not numbers)
I think Microsoft are very satisfied with the power of the X1
And Microsoft's engineers wouldn't give Sony that big of an advantage they're too smart
Carmack made his prediction on the xbox one winning based on tiled resources
There won't be a huge performance gap games like Dead Rising 3 and Forza compared to Infamous and Driveclub already prove this
I remember Heavy Rain being a heavy touted exclusive for ps3 so that is what I based my comment off of
@Chevalier I wasn't saying Dead Rising 3 is new jackass the gameplay using Kinect in that manner is new
And so what we have sequels that just means the games sell well enough
Now there's more games on the xbox one than your developing teams at Sony have... Wait let me rephrase that, there's more quality games. I fixed it
I can already tell I'm going to love this game
For $500 I'm getting technology that costs as much as the Ps4 (Kinect 2.0)
Along with most of the same games and its own exclusives that I'm pretty sure I'll love
Ease of use by logging me in through Kinect
Skype
New gameplay experiences like in Dead Rising 3 saying something to get the zombies attention
Not having to ever set my controls or settings
Anyone notice how Qte's weren't bad in gameplay until this game was showed?
And it's only because this game is a threat to the ppl that don't like Microsoft
I remember rumors of this game being the next Gears or Halo
If it has good multiplayer I can see this game being one of best games for the xbox one
This has been squashed a long time ago and even when ppl have played on the actual consoles you Cernies keep bringing it up
Both Comic con and I believe it was Pax Australia showed the xbox one can hold its own showing Ryse, Dead Rising 3 and Battlefield 4 being played on the hardware
Lococycle was the only game using Nvidia at E3
Between this and the "spybox" Cernies are getting lamer and lamer with their criticisms
@SuperLupe that's exactly what I was going to comment. Ryse, Forza 5, Dead Rising 3, and even the in-game cutscenes of the order and the Black Tusk game have me so excited.
I've been waiting for these kind of graphics for a long time and great graphics to me enhances gameplay
I disagree. In Killzone there isn't much going on in the background in the demo showed while Ryse had archers shooting arrows and particle effects. The graphics look better and Ryse will also have 100 characters on screen at one time
1st party studios made Killzone and it doesn't look or run better than Battlefield 4
Killzone: 30 fps, decent graphics
Battlefield 4: 1080p, 60 fps with more characters on screen, beautiful unprecedented realistic graphics
Is battlefield 4 not a launch title just like Killzone where the comparison was made and Killzone is a 1st party game.
And battlefield 4 has ALREADY been shown and demoed running on xbox one in front of a live audience so your comment is untrue
I'm with you brother I would think if a system was a half more powerful than another you'd be able to tell the difference from the get go.
I think either one of three things or possibly all three are happening.
1. The hardware is hugely underestimated: The Esram and move engines data combo is allowing for superb performance
2. Tiled resources: The ability from exclusive direct x 11.2 where gigs of processing can be stored in the memo...
@corvusmd Thank you sir for this insightful post. You've nailed it on the head. Things don't add up. How is Halo, Forza, Killer Instinct and Battlefield all confirmed to be 60 frames while Ps4 games are just aiming for 30 frames.
Games are looking better and running better on Xbox One.
How does Ryse and Dead Rising 3 look visually stunning with hundreds of characters on screen at once.
With the small amount of enemies in the Killzone...
I can't see myself running out of fun ways to kill zombies in this game especially since there are different types of zombies
And I'm amazed at the visuals. How does this game look so good with so many characters on screen at one time
@Mezzo "A multiplatform"
The article said best Xbox One game in the 1st year not the Ps4 silly :)
I'm surprised this thing is selling so well because they haven't shown any good games
It's Microsoft's fault though planning an online-only console
