Probably competitors made the rumor to burry MS. Why MS is not defending itself? Because MS never announced that it even works on a new console. Simple as that.
4 players split-screen + online is awesome! I keep on playing it with my wife on 1 box and friends join us up online. It's a blast!

This always-online feature is for updating games, apps and other stuff while xbox is off, NOWHERE IT SAYS YOU CAN'T PLAY GAMES OFFLINE! Learn to read with understanding and cut that crap already.
I don't see what improvements xbox controller need. D-PAD was fixed, nothing else needs to be done. It's the most comfy controller out there and yes I was a crazy dualshock fan back in the day.

It was never said that xbox will not be able to run games offline, it simply states that xbox will always try to check games for updates and update them even when xbox is off/sleeping and connection is awailible. When launching kinect on xbox360 you are asked if kinect can send samples of your voice or video to microsoft for bla bla purposes. Simply choose NO and that's it. They can't force you to do anything you want. There were exactly same arcicles when first kinect was being released. Whoever believes this big brother bullcrap is just sad.
People need to learn to read. It's a standby mode that updates games automaticly etc, when you don't use your xbox. Same thing was in old one but now it will automaticly check games for updates. Nowhere it states that you won't be able to play offline. Seriously guys learn to read!

It's simply a kind of good feature that will keep durango connected to internet while in sleep mode so it can check for updates etc when you are not using it, and it does not need to boot all over again, just like PC sleep mode but upgraded. STOP CRYING IF YOU GUYS CAN't READ!

It does look good but honestly I was expecting more. It should blow me away and it was far from that. What's the whole fuzz about? Expecially considered that the videos max resolution is 720p which makes me believe native res of the render is 720p.
